I have soft tissue damage from 2003 and had scope done. Was doing good until recently started having crunching (new symptom) and pain in same knee. OS told me that nothing can stop crunching it is arthritis. Had cortozone and it did nothing. Doing therapy, but in a few weeks no changes. Can arthoscopics surgery help, or other non surgical methods ??
I think it would be a good idea to talk to a doctor about it because I think that arthroscopic surgery would probably help out your situation as far as I can tell. I'm not a doctor though and I don't have your history in front of me but it sounds like it might be a good course of treatment. Have you spoken to anyone about this? Keep us posted.
I am trying platalet injections first. Three weeks since first one with no change. Everything I am reading about surgery says that it will not help in my case ? Doctor says platalet treatment will help with the pain and crunching, but no relief yet. Have you ever heard of this working, and any thoughts on surgery not helping for this?
Well I have read few things where people have positive outcome with platelet injections. I'm not really sure how much time has to pass that you feel some changes.
If you have any more info on this it would be good if you can share. I hope that you will keep us posted about your condition and if you have any changes in your treatment.

That's really unfortunate that the platelet injections didn't work for you because three weeks out it should have had some sort of noticeable change by this point. I think it's a little odd that you haven't seen anything so I'm sorry to hear that it's not working out for you just yet. I still think that the surgery might help out but it's really up to you in your doctor. Keep us posted either way, okay?
