I cut the labia minor while shaving and now there are large red skin abrasions without any discharge. My doc has had me on Bactrim for 14 days now, and they are still very red. Why aren't they healing? They don't seem to be infected as I do not have any type of a discharge. What can be used to heal these red skin abrasions?
I have exactly the same problem and have been on Bactrim for four weeks now. I just bought some calendular ointment and have been putting ice on and off the area for a couple of days. Its driving me absolutely crazy and I'm worried as to why its taking so long to heal.
How long did it take to heal?
