So you're the first person that I have a common symptom with in that I'm taking generic propecia as well! I don't know that this is the issue for others but my onset of symptoms does coincide with the prescription

IT’s prostatitis. If antibiotics stop it then it’s an infection. If you don’t stay on the meds long enough it will come right back. The doctor will need to massage the prostate to get the prostate fluid into the urinary tract (it only takes a second) then urinate into a cup and send off to a lab. Should take three days to get results. You need to find out what type of bacteria it is. You need to know If it’s gram positive or gram negative bacteria. Then treat with the right antibiotic for that bacteria and make sure the antibiotic is a lipid soluble antibiotic that penetrates the prostate. Not all antibiotics penetrate the prostate. Researchgate has a list of all antibiotics that penetrate the prostate. STAY away from any kind of flouraquinolone antibiotics like cipro levaquin avelox etc . They are extremely dangerous and are a last resort medicine. They cause all kinds of problems with the mitochondria of your cells and central nervous system. They chelate all the magnesium out of your cells. They strip the myelin off your nerve fibers especially in the auditory system. They should be completely band but doctors prescribe them like they are water.
