I had MRI guided FLA (Focal Laser Ablation) by Dr Karamanian in Houston, Texas 4 weeks ago and am extremely pleased with the results. No pain at all. No incontenence, No erectile dysfunction and Ejaculation seems normal. At 4 weeks I am now going to the bathroom way better than before the op and it keeps getting better. Extremely happy with MRI FLA and Dr K in Houston. Great decision that worked!!

Consider yourself very fortunate, I went to the same doctor and he cooked me I now suffer from erectile dysfunction and retrograde ejaculation they tell me six months to a year for recovery, if I had to do it all over again I would have not gone with this treatment method

I amen this list and more items need to be added. like.... I sat for an hour then stood at my desk (at home) to work for 3 hours. I felt fine, but when I urinated a lot more blood came out than usually.... I've been almost blood clear for 2 days, then this happened. I believe standing or sitting in a chair for too long does this. BUT if I lay down in bed and sit up and work everything seems to be ok. I believe the first 2 weeks or so of healing the lasered areas are very tender and have not built up much healing; so any abrupt movement or exercise disturbs everything. Anyway.... this is my theory. Tony

Hi my husband an a Holep laser surgery for an enlarged prostate. It will a month tomorrow and the bleeding hasn’t really stopped much during that time. It was so bad yesterday that he is now back in hospital where they are trying to flush his prostate and bladder out. He has been in dreadful pain with blockages and we are very disappointed that considering he went privately his consultant didn’t pre warn he of this so it’s all been a terrible shock !!! It’s been very comforting for me to know that others have had the same. I tend to always think the worse. Thanks for your postings.
