don't know if someone already answered you. Your question is old and you may never read this, but for others, i can tell you that i've lived with the exact same thing and the problem is most likely in your neck. Pinched nerve in your neck radiates down through the arm....... it is miserable, painful and very hard to live with. Every so often, you may hear a "clunk" --- that is the vertebrae falling back into place..... this relieves the pressure on the pinched nerve and you'll feel better. However, sleep the wrong way, bend the wrong way, etc, and the neck gets out of joint again and the nerve hurts again, and round and round you go. Massage can help, chiropractor can help..... a strong friend can get you in a bear hug, face to face, put his joined fists on your back, between the shoulder blades and pull his hands in sharply, with good force, while you exhale --- lots of times this will put the bones back in alignment --- gives you relief. Good luck to everyone going through this ---- it is miserable.
