Is this peeling only jn the morning specifically after brushing (exposure to the toothepaste) routine for you?
I have exactly the same problem, it isn't painful just very annoying because sometimes I have to peel the skin away with my thumb and then put it into a tissue. I will try a herbal toothpaste and see if that makes any difference, Thank you all for the comments.

Every since I was little, my skin in mouth would peel after using Colgate, so I quit using it. Flash forward 50 yrs., Colgate still makes my mouth peel & ANY toothpaste that says it will "whiten". Regular Sensodyne is O.K. but if it is pro-namel or any kind of restoring paste, I will peel.
Saaaammeee except it was my cheeks lmao
I have the peeling on my cheeks and have associated it with preservatives and too many sweets, in addition to whitening toothpaste that I have held in my mouth too long. Using natural toothpaste and watching treats and sweet drinks helps to rid it.
I've been having the same problem since using Crest Pro Health Toothpaste. Every morning, shortly after brushing, the inside lining of my mouth sheds. I did not have this problem before I used this toothpaste or after I changed to something different. I ran a search on the internet and found quite a few complaints about the same problem, using the same toothpaste.
Yep started for me when I started using pro health mouthwash and toothpaste
Going to mention next week to dr to double check tho....

Hey, I too had this problem. But it became alright right after I changed my toothpaste
Yes after I brushed every part of my teeth 200 times. The inside of my mouth started to peel buggery like skin all in my mouth but nothing too serious or bad happened.
How to brush ur teeth fact: When you brush ur teeth and want to clean them really good? Brush in circles and on the left side of your jaw and count to 200. And do the same thing with the right side and front. Don't forget to keep brushing your teeth in circles and tada you have nice white teeth. I hope you can fool the dentist, but I highly doubt that. And have a goodnight.
I have had skin peeling off the inside of my cheeks for a very long time. Over the years it would get better when I was on an antibiotic. Only to come back again. I have talked to a few dentists about it but they have no ansewers.
Tide you ever figure this out? I've had this all of my life and it itches too. No dentist has offered a solution. Thanks.
I have had this same issue for many years. it started when I used Crest Whitestrips when they first came out I believe. I've also read that a lot of toothpaste have cinnamon and mint which can also cause this scenario. I need to find toothpaste that has no whitening no cinnamon no mint and see if that works.
I just found something from Britain regarding peeling inside the mouth related to sodium lauryl sulfate in toothpastes. So i am switching to SLS-free toothpaste, to see if that works.
It happened to me when I started using a new tooth paste it was the Crest Pro Health and it turned out that I am allergic to it and that is why the skin on the inside of my mouth started peeling...
