Ingrown hair or hair bumps as you call them, do not grow on the delicate walls of the vagina. I am not a Doctor, there fore i can't tell you what they are, but i suggest you see your doctor. They MAY, and i say MAY, be genital warts.
If you have been diagnosed by a Doctor and he told you that these bumps are cysts, then continue to do what he has said. If you have been given medical information from a friend via a medical site on the computer, see a doctor. If you are as scared as you say i would not take a friends computer diagnosis at all.
I am not dissin anything that we may find on the computer, medical wise, but sometimes we are finding the wrong information and depending on what it says. I am a avid user of the internet and totally love these sites but you have to be careful with that. Looking up a description of a lump or bump that we find on our body's is fine, to a point! A site may say something and we go un treated by our doctor, only to make it worse when our symptoms get out of control.
Ex: My neighbor complained of heart burn for days so he looked it up on the internet. The site said it was heart burn or acid indigestion. I suggested he see his doctor but he relied on the info he read. He ate tums by the jar and started taking Prilosec, an acid reducer. A week later he had a massive heart attack.
Just consult your doctor, it may be nothing at all. But anything that shows up on our body's that is not supposed to be there is a definite call to the doc.
You can do what you want, but if it were me i would be, at the very least, making a phone call.
