Actually, there are no diuretic or laxative properties in Isagenix, even when cleansing. They recommend anywhere between 1200-2500 calories, depending on activity level. You might be smart, but you haven't actually read anything on Isa obviously

I am not thrilled with some of the ingredients that Isagenix adds to their products (i.e. added sugars, synthetic aminos, vitamins,minerals, artificial flavors and sweetners, not organic, etc.). That being said, I have a cousin with Chron's so I understand wanting to try anything and everything, so i applaud the research you are doing.

I have personally shared this product with mothers who have breast-fed and had recently given birth. Great results, but you must be educated. After 28 days on the program, I too got kidney stones - very painful. Now with the number of people taking Isagenix, and the number of middle-aged people that get kidney stones - two samples does not make science. I am posting this only in case others google this question -they will find a thread here they can add to. I am waiting for an analysis of the stone. Isagenix does not appear to be too high in calcium, but it could be uric acid as well. We will see what the analysis says. I did find this on the Isagenix web site which is telling -
Tip 5: Drink Plenty of Water
By drinking plenty of water daily, you help to remove uric acid from your body. In fact, studies show that consuming two to three quarts daily will even help prevent the formation of uric acid kidney stones.
