Actually, there are no diuretic or laxative properties in Isagenix, even when cleansing. They recommend anywhere between 1200-2500 calories, depending on activity level. You might be smart, but you haven't actually read anything on Isa obviously

I am not thrilled with some of the ingredients that Isagenix adds to their products (i.e. added sugars, synthetic aminos, vitamins, minerals, artificial flavors and sweetners, not organic, etc.). That being said, I have a cousin with Chron's so I understand wanting to try anything and everything, so i applaud the research you are doing.

Good luck and good health to you!

The products are investigated and unlike most companies they have 3rd party scientist who research the products. The products are not for everyone but they have changed my life for the best. I've lost toxic fat and feel better at 57 than I have in years. I was one of the biggest skeptics but after 30 days I was convinced. It can't just be me because my husband, son, mother, father, sisters, niece, nephew and numerous friends are all using it and I've only had one person out of 54 or more that have sent their products back because they wanted to eat and didn't want to drink a shake for a meal replacement. Products speak for themselves!!

I have personally shared this product with mothers who have breast-fed and had recently given birth. Great results, but you must be educated. That's what we do and then you get to decide if it's right for you. I'd love to put you in our private Facebook page so you can browse at your leisure. Just give me a thumbs up.

After 28 days on the program, I too got kidney stones - very painful. Now with the number of people taking Isagenix, and the number of middle-aged people that get kidney stones - two samples does not make science. I am posting this only in case others google this question -they will find a thread here they can add to. I am waiting for an analysis of the stone. Isagenix does not appear to be too high in calcium, but it could be uric acid as well. We will see what the analysis says. I did find this on the Isagenix web site which is telling -

Tip 5: Drink Plenty of Water

By drinking plenty of water daily, you help to remove uric acid from your body. In fact, studies show that consuming two to three quarts daily will even help prevent the formation of uric acid kidney stones.

Hello, I just wanted people to hear my story. I, like many people was looking for a way to help me loose weight and become more fit. A friend messaged me on FB and told me about Isagenix. I signed up hopeful that this would be my ticket to great health. I did loose weight. This was the only positive that I experienced though. The products were not pleasant to eat and my friend would suggest that I try all of these other things to add to my shakes to make them taste better. This did not help. I was still determined to make this my new lifestyle. I kept at it and after about a month I developed a rash around my face and eyes. I also broke out on my left arm a groin area. I didn't know at the time what was causing it. I thought at the time that I had been bit by a bug or something. My rash healed very slowly over a 2 week period. Then once again I broke out in a rash. This time the rash was worse than the first time. The Itchiness and swelling were almost too much to handle. I looked like a monster. I went to the Dr. and he gave my a steroid shot to calm things down. I'm still recovering from this rash 4 days post shot and I've stopped using Isagenix. I have never had a food allergy my intire life. How coud it be that I am having a reaction to this food based diet? I now have to go see a allergist to see what it was that caused this reaction. I believe it was one of the snacks in the Isagenix product line that contains soy lecithin. But, as I said I've never had a food allergy before and I'm 52 years old. Maybe my body is reacting to too much protein. Whatever it is. I feel as though Isagenix is the root of problem. I hope I can find the answer so that I can share it with everyone wanting to know if this is in deed caused by the Isagenix product line. I don't see how it couldn't be at this time as their product line is the only thing different in my diet.

Seriously that second link is all bs. Isagenix is not diet pills. She is just advertising for a different cleanse. It seems every review that I see is all bias either positive for selling Isagenix or negative trying to sell something else.

I had been on isagenix for about a week and a half before I had stomach pain and cramps so severe it sent me to the er thinking I had appendicitis. My appendix is fine and I now have symptoms of chrons disease although I don't know for sure because I need to follow up with a dr. When I posted a concern in a isagenix information forum I was blocked from the group. Who does that!? Isagenix is a scam their products are made with fructose, maltodextrin, tricalcium phosphate, and soy lecithin, none of which are healthy to consume, and when you even try asking for advice they ignore and block you. I'm sure that's why people can't find negative reviews on it, they are like the mob. If you want a healthy weight loss, do it the natural way, not paying a ton of money to load your body up with chemicals. By the way, any diet that reduces calorie intake and encourages exercise will make you lose weight.

The products are made with fructose, maltodextrin, tricalcium phosphate and soy lecithin, how is that healthy? Products like that will send anyone with a sensitive system to the er with sever pain and inflammation. All isagenix does is load your body uparts with unnatural chemicals!
