Bambi is totally right as always and I totally agree that you should be demanding more for your health! I don't think that your doctor has been very helpful in this process and you're probably better off going with someone who shows that he cares about you enough to give you the time of day at the very least. I hope that you're doing well. How are things going for you now?

You're welcome honey and thankyou for the kind words. I just wanted to mention something to you about finding a new doc. Ask for a meeting with him/her first OK? Because you don't want to sign up with someone that you don't click with, as far as I'm concerned you should be giving a job interview right? Also like I said before phone your local womens health centre or hospital and see about differenet doctors accepting patients. AND when you start talking to these nurses ASK them what THEY think about so and so doctor!! They are really knowledgeable about the different doctors and the "word on the street" ask your girlfriends and if they say "Yeah he'she's alright!" you pass! You want to hear "he/she is FANTASTIC they care so much about me etc etc" OK. Keep us informed and good luck honey, you IWLL get sorted out I promise, it's YOUR health and body!!

Hi Miracle, yeah, there's a reason here why I tease bambi about being the unoffical SteadyHealth pregnancy/women's health guru because she knows all! How's your new doctor search going?

Hello Everyone sorry it took me so long to get back. I went to the doctor an had recent test done. Come to find out I am ovulating and I am fertile. Im Excited. Now I have an question we had sex this past friday11 and saturday12(on our 6th year anniversary) and I tested for ovulation on sunday 13 and monday14 and it was positive.on the 14 the line was much darker to indicate I was ovulating. Did I have sex to early??? Could the sperm last this long???

Actually honey sperm can last 3 days in the uterus! Also I know that women are more likely to conceive around the time of ovulation, but I conceived both my children about 7 days AFTER ovulating!!! So just keep trying, I know that the doctors say not to do it too much, but the way I think about it and my husband was ecstatic ;-) XD Take the work out of conceiving and just be as intimate as possible! Because the way I see it is, "What happens if you miss THAT day!!!" I'm sure your husband will agree!!!! ;-) XD

Also congratulations on your anniversary! And since you have the all clear and are ovulating and considered fertile, just go for it! I hope that doesn't sound crude, but I hope you get my drift!

Also help out mother nature, by putting a pillow under your hips and lay like that for as long as possible! I had a friend that stood on her head!!!!!! So just remember to not make it a job and get overly anxious about it OK? Because I have known SO many women who were so worried and it became VERY stressful for them! Just know that there is nothing wrong with you - which is excellent - and this WILL happen for you! I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you honey! Also take prenatal vitamins, the increased Folic Acid has been shown to increase fertility!!! Good luck and health to you!

My period is not due for another three days but I have this feeling its coming soon. I took a couple of those early pregnancy test off the internet but they came back NEGATIVE!!!! I think its just time I give up I have accomplished all the goals I have set out in my life and am still reaching for more but the only thing I am missing is a child of God.. I no it is me because my boyfriend has a healthy son in which I love to death but cant get over the fact that I cant have one. I'm just going to give up I have been trying and praying an no sign since my last miscarriage...I am Crushed words cannot express how I feel, only my tears can show my hurt!!! :'( :'( :'(

Oh sweetie, I know you are feeling discouraged, but you have the all clear as far as your health is concerned, so it is NOT you!!!!! I know this is stressful for you, and perhaps taking a month or two off from this immense pressure you are putting yourself under, will be a good thing for you! Stress can play havoc on your hormones and your cycle and there is even such a thing as a "Hysterical Pregnancy" where women AND even men have been so overwhelmed with wanting or NOT wanting a baby, they make themselves believe that they are actuall pregnant! And have ALL the symptoms!

Also know this, HPT's ALL depend on when you actually conceived, so if you conceived 4 days before the test, then there wont be anything! So you have to really keep in you mind the dates etc.

There is fertility help by medications such as Clomid and Metformine, and then there is ALWAYS adoption! They too are children of God! I TOTALLY understand your need for a child from your own womb honey! BUT if you ever get tired of trying and it is just too overwhelming for you then there is always a child out there needing a loving mom and dad!

Just know that it is NOT you nor your husband! Healthy couples with no issues can take upto 1 year of constantly trying, for them to become pregnant! It's a hard thing sometimes, and we don't know why! But just don't beat yourself up about it OK? Much love and hugs to you and I will STILL keep my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Hey Bambi or anyone else have a good answer to my question, My period is due today 9-30-09 but I had some dark spotting 28&29. It only came when I wiped and was about a quarter in size in the toilet.... It stopped today the day my period is posed to come but no show. The blood from the previous days didnt get heavier it stopped..Could this be implantation bleeding?? I did an HPT but it was a BFN??What do you think %-) ?? Praying and trying to stay positive :-)

No idea honey, usually if you get pregnant right around your period, your period will still happen - as though your brain didn't get the memo in time ;-) And also don't waste your monies on HPT till your late, keep track of the dates of unprotected sex and what happens upto 7 days after. Usually only 1/3 of women actually have implantation bleeding and it is usually light pink or brown blood! So just know that the HCG levels will have to be high enough for the test to detect! If you can let me know the dates I can help you further! Just keep taking the prenatal vitamins or just folic acid!
