Hi everyone I have a very important question. Yesterday I accidently got hit in the stomach. And today it hurts. It's fine if no one touches the spot but even when I rub it it feels like a it's bruising or something. I am just about 22 weeks pregnant as well. Any advice would be great. Thanks ladies :-)
hey bunny is this baby number 1 ???? if not have you felt any movement also if you are concerned ring your Mw or doctor to get checked out ... usually babies have got lots and lots of protection ( depending on how big you were pre pregnancy) cause baby has you body fat mussel an the amniotic fluid around it to protect it ... how are was the was the hit and how did you get hit?
Hi and there is no bleeding it anything so I think in ok. I just worries me that it hurts. And we were playing ball and I missed the catch so it had some force.yes it my first one abd I still feel movements.
if you can still feel movements you baby will be fine you will have a bruse
I agree it is probably just tender due to how you got hit and thus getting a bruise. The baby moving is a good sign, do you still feel the movements as frequently as before? Things should be okay, but if you want to be on the safe side then just give your doctor a call and explain the situation and they will ask the right questions and go from there. But it should be nothing to worry about. It would be no different if you got hit in the arm, your arm would hurt afterwords too. Its just the spot you got hit that is tender to touch right? Not your whole stomach? Sounds like baby and you are fine, you could try to ice the area to help with any pain and swelling you may have.
I agree with everyone BUT how did you get hit and with what? At 22 weeks, the baby is less than 1 lb and has a lot of insulation! BUT it just depends on exactly what occurred! IT's great that there is no bleeding! Do the counting of the moves while laying down! BUT you should be fine. Just let us know how and with what OK?

i had my first scan today
ive never seen anything so perfect! i got my EDD right too :-) 22nd august and i was only one day out in how many weeks i was too!

alesia you are very welcome we are all such a helpful bunch of people and we all love to share experiences and help one another .. i found this website when i was going through a rough patch and found bambi to be the best in every which way she could .... ( the website i have here at home were very catty and not support full at all and found this the best site of all ) home for me in NZ
Mum i think that she has a allergy or the milk/dairy is to strong for her belly i can keep the ice cream fro M'd's with out any trouble but the 2 liter container of ice cream from the shop gives her a very sore belly ... she also has colic and reflux but i got to wait till she is 4 moths old b4 i can get any thing for her :'( so we are using some colic powder for her belly and a dummy to help pacifier her

as much i cant have any more i want another one LOL but they soon grow up and be a pain in my bum LOL but i love them so much i dont want the to grow up my baby boy is off to school next year and my oldest daughter is just about in her purity year ARGH they are going up to fast

Ok Mum Bambie, Elysa is now 16 pounds and 5 ounces at 6 months of age..she is getting so big she has been rolling everywhere and scooting around. I m need some help mum. Elysa has the worst time going poop.. I think she is scared now to go poop because it hurts so bad. ok here I go her poop is so very hard and well formed not what a baby should be doing. She has been bleeding because of it being so big when she goes. I feel so bad for her. No one in the family has this problem and she just screams for dear life when she has to go. We have tryed so much so what is left to try to help her. SHe is on Soy milk for being lactose intollerant. What do you think I give her water some to about 4 ounces a day and apple juice and prune juice and we have done baby suppositories but from what I have learned about baby suppositories is that it makes her go really fast and its so painful and causes her to bleed and it does not help losen the stools. And I have tryed warm baths which does not help at all. So mum what can help?

Hi all i am the same a Becky this is the first time i am able to get on to this site .. wish they would stop doing something for us not to be able to get on to the site .... any way Katelyn is 10 weeks 2 days ol and she had lost some weight quiet she was 5.02 kgs which is i think about 10 or 11 lbs i think and when she was weighed on the 21st she was down to 4.98 and she has only has a little weight gain ... she was 5.12kgs sorry i cant convert my nurse didnt convert it for me i have to use the online coverter later and hopefully repost what that weight is in Lb an Oz ...
