Hi there I am 20 years old, for about a year I have had a lump behind my left testicle, I have went to the doctor, and had an ultra sound. They seem to have thought it was some type of infection and gave me medicine, but it never went away. It usually is there but smaller at points and mostly only gets bigger the moment I start to get aroused. At times it tends to cause sharp pains that only last a short length of time and is very random, is this something to get checked out again or is it some what normal?
It is very possible that this is epidimitis, a slight inflamation of the epidimous that rides behind or on-top of your testicle.
It can be cleared with an antibiotic, available from your doctor.

But it is likely to cycle more and less if you don't get treated.
