My boyfriend has these piles of skin on his butt area around the crack of his butt. They look like what I thought of be piles. They are not really painfull but annoying to him when he goes to the bathroom. Can you tell me if these could be something of concern to him??

It's difficult to assess what these skin growths look like? Can you describe them? How many, color, thickness, size, texture, etc.
I would like to say that they're skin tags because it sounds an awful lot like that but I'm not entirely sure so do you think that you could share a little more detail with us? Are you asking because ou want to convince him to go see a doctor about this or are you just curious in general about it or do you think it might be something worse like an STD?
