MARIJUANA AND PREGNANCY?

and remember the only reason why weed is illegal is becuase the alchohol, ciggarette, paper, and lumber business would go bankrupt if they legalized hemp. everybody knows there is nothing wrong with it, except that it would crush many big biz in America

I smoke pot ALOT, I mean ALOT.. ALOT, Im high right now...

Anyways, I find myself to be more productive, why? Because I am too high to care. So I clean and I hang out with my daughter and such. Sure there will be people who are lazy as f**k and don't care about anything but their dumb weed. But that is simply the PERSON, not the drug. Weed has gotten me out of my eating disorder.. Helped me get pregnant, and have a healthy body, ever since I started smoking pot on a regular basis, my vitamin count in my body went up, all my blemishes are gone and I am no longer anemic. If people wanna smoke weed, that is simply their choice, and should not be attacked, if they don't want to, that is also cool... Whatever works.



I no longer argue, or get into ridiculous fights with my husband, why you ask? I am too f*****g high to care about arguing.. I care about the good things in life, and what can come out of it. Honestly Weed has done nothing but help me out.

I could be one disgusting looking 80 pound, 20 year old girl who is anemic and nothing but dramatic.. Would YOU wanna be around someone like that? No, because it is gay.



It has improved my relationship with my parents and husband. And I do NOT drink, I do NOT smoke cigarettes and nor do I do ANY other drug, why, because it is very harmful and either one could kill me. You want me to die? No? Okay.. then let me smoke my weeeeeed :).





Niggah, the drug itself.. Weed cannot kill you.. Sure it will make you clueless the next day, if thats all you do is smoke weed. Sit around and not contribute to society, but if you excercise your brain the same amount that you smoke, you will be okay..

most likely u wont get pregnant . but if he lets up on the smokin for a few months then then sperm count will start to getr back to normal.

Okay, so this girl wants to know if she can get pregnant and her baby will be healthy and all you guys can talk about is the issue of drugs. The issue is, will her baby be normal if her husband is a smoker?

You can still get pregnant! I am now four months pregnant by someone who smoked weed almost everyday for the last ten years. I guess it all depends on the man.

Hey got a question, Has anyone ever heard of someone overdosing from just weed? If anyone says that they have you are lying. If you smoke too much the worst that will happen is that you'll take a nap, but when you get up your ass will be hungry enough to eat up everything in the kitchen. I just wanted to say that if your boyfriend/husband does smoke weed that you can still get pregnant. My husband smokes weed everyday and has for the last 10 years and we have 2 healthy little girls together. As long as your boyfriend/husband is not intending on doing this in front of, or in the same house as your child (when you have one) than all is good. My husband is the best father you could ask for, we both work full time jobs and lead very normal lives. Our girls have no idea about what he is doing bcause it is never done in front of them or in the house for that matter.

I am pregnant did not know about it and found out i was during the month i smoked weed... and i'm wondering how effectively is this to my baby?!?

I used to be a pot smoker untill I got pregnant. I have always lead a very normal life. I was in the top 10% of my class. I have always been in oppose to both tobacco and alcohol. I have to agree with the many people on this thread who have stated that "smoking pot is no reason to discriminate". I find it incredibly ironic that someone who works at a fetus killing center, is passing some kind of unjust judgment on the occational pot smoker. I wouldn't have married a man who smokes crack, or has a drinking problem, or a stip club problem, or who worked in an abortion clinic! The thing to be pointed out is that there are many drungs, and many addictions, some worse then others... and most are way worse then simply smoking pot. Those are the facts whether you like it or not, and maybe had you done your reaserch you wouldn't have come accross as someone so ignorant... (someone who is uneducated)

My husband is a very sucessfull musician (and trust me- we dont live in a trailer). He smokes pot all the time, and I got pregnant on our 2nd try, not to mention I only have 1 tube and 1 ovary. So i guess one would say that he might have super sperm. Its not accurate to say that it does or it does not dertermine your chances of getting pregnant. All you can do is judge by the people who did or did not get pregnant while smoking pot, and determine for your self with those results. what about God? does he effect your thinking about pot or do you think he would approve this act? I am a christian and smoke pot but know that the money could be better spent.. so what is your take on that.

I don't chose to respond to threads often, especially ones in which the topic has been abandoned in favor of arguing over individuals' beliefs and convictions.

For those of you who are concerned about the negative effects of marijuana on the ability to conceive, just look at a hippy festival. There are plenty of children there. For those of you who are questioning the effects on children as they grow up, examine our schools. Most children who act out are labeled as having ADD or ADHD or some other form of behavioral issue. I work with quite a few children who "suffer" from this and after having met the parents, I can assure you that the children are not suffering from a disorder.

Most children with behavioral issues seem to have _developed_ them due to their parents not instilling any sort of boundaries or rules. The children run the household or else are left to their own devices while the parents are busy with their own lives. Yes, I do believe in attention disorders but also feel that it is a convenient way to dismiss a gross level of ignorance in people today when it comes to how to raise a child.

As a person who is a) at almost a full-term pregnancy with what I am told is a very healthy child b) a responsible 40 + hr. a week employee, and
c) a user of marijuana I feel I can at least say it is all a matter of the lifestyle you chose to have while you smoke. If you want to sit and smoke pot all day and munch down on food that is not only unhealthy for you, but for a developing infant then YES, you will have an unhealthy child.

If you are active and make healthy choices IE: plenty of nutritious foods, sunshine, exercise, etc. you can have a healthy child. Your child will continue to be healthy and develop into a wonderful being if you maintain your own standards in how you raise them. A child is the product of the parenting, you can't expect a child to make proper decisions and turn out to be a well-rounded person based on genetics.

If you do intend to use marijuana while pregnant, there are important things to consider. How was it grown? Were pesticides and chemical fertilizers used? Do you know that it is from a reputable person and therefore able to insure your supply isn't laced with anything? Also, consider the amount you are using. If it is enough to get you through the nausea and discomfort but not so much that you are "stoned stupid", fine. Furthermore, it is possible to bypass the "dangers of carcinogens" by NOT SMOKING. Simply make a tea.
