Mild burning in penis usually after ejaculation or urinating

It comes from eating spicy foods much like like you take a dump and it burns. It's the same thing but ita coming from your penis

This happends to me about once a month... I just sit really still and wait it out... I wouldn't worry about it even tho it is very uncomfortable... It takes about 30 mins to an hour to go away

It's nice to know I'm not the only one with this issue.  Just as everyone else it seems to be the worse after peeing right after ejaculating from masturbation.  On occasion it happens after sex, but maybe only once or twice...   The only issue is that I've been dealing with this problem since I was really young, about 5 or 6 that I can remember.  I always thought it was what I drank or ate that had something to do with it, then it stopped for several years and started back up after hitting puberty.  Now, right after ejaculating, both sex and masturbation, I rub the head of my penis and it makes me urinate fiercely and it usually doens't burn as often.  It seems when I take a few minutes to pee after ejaculating that the burning comes about and I have to try to urinate frequently to get the pain to stop or at least subside.

There are some very interesting ideas and recommendations and I'll have to give one or two a try, maybe waiting even longer after ejaculating to urinate and see if that helps, but I'm still boggled as to why I have had this issue since I was really young, prepubescent.

I myself have had this problem for many years now, originally i was too embarressed to see a doc in my teen years. I did a lot of research trying to figure out what the problem was, i hadn't had sex so it couldn't be an STD. I as under the impression it might've been a urinery tract infection. Anyway i matured up a bit and went and spoke to my doc, they took a urine sample and perscribed me with some Doxycycline tablets as a safety measure. Even after taking my course of anti-biotics the issue was still happening, i eventually went to a clinic and they found nothing.

I decided to come and research again and found this topic, after reading through all the pages here it's like a weight off my chest, i am happy i am not the only one with this issue and doesn't seem to be much of a problem. After reading this topic i don't think anybody has got a name for this problem but it makes sense it might be down to the remains of semen vs urine combination while in the shaft, i've always imagined it might've been due to my acidic diet.

I'll probably end up checking with my Doc or getting in touch with a urologist when i get time off work again just to check this.

 

I hope others will read this topic and know that they are not alone and i wish there may be a permanent cure.

I would still get yourself checked out incase it may be an STD or something like a urinary tract infection - don't worry, you'll most likely be required to give a urine sample, both tests i had didn't require the dreadded cotton swap. This is usually done privately so don't need to sweat about getting your nads out infront of the doc.

Until i get clarification i'll be taking some of the preventative advice from in here.

I am 14 years old and I have the same thing it started a little bit after I was in the woods with my friends and we found cocain and harowin so we dug through leaves being curious and Idk if it is from something like that I haunt told anybody and I don't wanna see a doctor but I'm afraid it might be something surious

I have the same problem it only happens after intercourse every once in awhile after masterbating it burns for 15 mins or so I have learned that a hot bath helps ease the pain but my problem is I got stepped on ridding bulls a few years ago and had to have part of my urethra replaced due to damage and my doctor said its peices of scare tissue stuck and can't exit the penis which causes the burning

I've had similar. A mild burning near the tip of the urethra. Something I thought it could be was an irritation caused by masturbating with lotion. I think a little can seep up there and cause mild irritation, like getting shampoo in your eyes.

Really try standing up while masterbating, I just did this as an a experiment and it worked, no more burning... I've had this problem for years an after reading these replys I've figured it out... Try standing up, it keeps it from backing up into your bladder, prob why it doesn't happen after sex, because your upright!   I can't believe it, this will improve my life a lot, I stopped whacking off when I would drinn beer... No more!

Well Im having it at the moment, and I just came upon this, whatever you do, do not urinate until the pain goes away, I know this might sound stupid, but if you do you will feel no pain for about 2 secs and then the pain will beging form the beginning again -_-Wait until you are confident the pain is gone, then urnate and it should be fine, I reckon its just patience required, and yes I also thin it's soap but then again sometime i don't know..

the problem occured to me when i was int he shower masturbating with soap, i think it got inside my Urethra, and thats why it happen, only burns when i pee. Hasnt gone yet

I recently started having this issue (I'm 32). I visited a doctor and got some antibiotics prescribed for urinary tract infection - to absolutely no effect. Then it suddenly went away about two weeks later.

I have a very healthy diet so it didn't take too long before I realized the condition was triggered through consumption of coke! :)

I normally drink no soda at all. However, during that period of time, I had a somewhat irritated stomach and because we had free coke at work, I started drinking it to help digestion. As soon as my stomach got better and I stopped drinking the stuff, the burning sensation went away (it was pretty bad at times, going up into my bladder, making me pee every 5 minutes or driving me crazy when I chose to resist the urge).

Whenever I drink coke, depending on the amount consumed, I get a slight to moderate itch in urethra. About 0,5 liter consumed is enough to trigger the symptoms (it usually takes about half a day).

I have no idea whether the coke is a trigger for anyone else. But I would encourage anyone suffering from this to try drinking only still mineral or tap water for about a month - no sparkling soda of any kind. If it does not help, at least you made your diet a bit healthier for a month. :)
