It occurs because Semen and Urine mix inside the Urethra. Due to Urine's usual acidic construct, the mix of thick protein and acids can create a residue of inflamed liquid at the end of the penis; the only way to prevent this is good hydration (more water than soft drink, etc) and good forethought. And by forethought, I mean try ejaculating in a position that does not result in the penis being vertical. Basically, don't ejaculate while lying on your back and keep your penis facing straight or down. It's a strange concept, but as long as you urinate before sexual activities, drink a moderate amount of water, and try not to clog your Urethra by ejaculating multiple times in a vertical position, you should be fine.

I have had exactly the same thing. Only mildly stinging at the point of ejaculation and for a couple of minutes afterwards. I think it could be over-masterbating as it happened during a furious day of it a year ago and been happening ever since - although these days I only masterbate about two or three times a day. But I always have done this since being able to and now I'm 40. So the other thing I wonder is if its to do with diet. I've been working out since it started - and taking a protein powder - does anyone else take supplements? As I say I'm eating lots more protein than ever before but apart from that nothing has changed in the way I lead my life.

okay so this same thing has happened to me and iv just noticed over the last 2 days, i just read on that said they started having more protein and iv noticed i have started drinking lotss of milk latly and protin shakes to try to gain weight. so it could have somthing to do with protein

So heres the thing i did some research, as of i felt this same pain a tip at the penis after urinating, i looked into the nxt day becase it kinda worried me, and the most reasonable answer is called a urinary trac infectioin, this can be cured by anti biotecs given to a doctor, but try to not worry about it being akward, cause it can move to ur kidneys and cause damage, also If anyone else has noticed, when my pea wasnt really yellow and was clear it didnt hert.

ive had similar problem and ive found after ejaculating.. if i keep stroking and try and make sure all the sperm is out it isnt as bad.. or not at all.. im not a doctor but im guessing its sperm left in the penis, since ive been tested and dont have any std, or urinary track infection.. this is my hypothasis lol

This is the reaction of unspent sperm after ejaculation being hit by acid (urine) (causing discomfort) which kills the sperm, the now dead sperm then needs to dissolve into the blood stream giving a slight unpleasant feeling and the need to pee. Tends only to occur after long masturbation periods where delay of ejaculation is practiced.

I have had this issue for over 10 years. Ejaculating after drinking lager causes very uncomfortable burning in my penis which lasts for about 40 mins. During this time I have the urge to urinate, when I can urinate it relieves the symptoms massively. Like some of the previous posts I believe this is due to an imbalance caused by the drinking. I never get this issue when drinking wine or spirit. However, I do remember having the symptoms once after drinking a lot of diet coke.
Does anyone have a medical name for this condition?

I'm circumcised and it happens to me, so I don't like its much different from penis with forskin, I went to he doc, he gave me tablets for like a fungl infection and some cream, it went away after a week then came back one morning when I woke up. also no STD 's etc, so maybe theremust be some type of pain killer for it, its really anoying.

I KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS!!!!! I FIGURED IT OUT. ok so everytime u masterbate and dont clean up properly, a little bit of semen dries up at the tip of your urethra . the next time you pee you kind of have to burst that dry layer of semen open before your pee can come out. this messes with your urethra and causes pain (for a while) at the tip when u pee or ejaculate.

New theory. This happens to me every time when I try to piss after ejaculation. But only when I have just drank a frozen drink.. Eg. Starbucks frappacino. It happens about ten minutes after ejaculation. Before the burning when I piss I find my self trying to piss harder, right after ejaculation..... But I've only experienced this after drinking a frozen slush drink.

Alright everyone, I think we all have this issue, it definitely sucks. Now, I think it might be related to caffeine intake as well. Although I am the farthest from an expert on the issue, I have a lot of experience with it even though I am 16. If's horrible, but not the end of the world, and definitely not worth stressing over.
