Hi. I'm a 52 year old man, in Thailand, right now. I'm thinking that my problem is a stye, after
reading all of these posts. It started, yesterday morning. I had been very tired; but, stayed
up til 3:00 a.m. making videos on my lap-top. That probably played a role. It feels like someone
punched me. The pain is at the center of my lower left lid; but, the swelling is below that.
My friend's wife poured some of her breast milk into the lower lid; &, amazingly, it did
relieve the pain; &, the swelling went down, for awhile. I think exposure to dust, outside,
caused it to become irritated, again. I'm not sure what the long-term solution will be;
but, it may be that it will process out by itself. I will go to the clinic, at the school, where
I'm teaching, English, in the morning, to see what they say. This is 10/28/2012
im haveing that problem to under my left eye its swollen and allittle puffy im only 11 so im a bit worried its not very noticeable but it hurts allittle when i touch it or try to blink im not sure about having to see a doctor i think its a allergic reaction to my new makeup but im not sure should i go to the doctor:-|?
Chill out mate, would you like a hug? x
I am having similar problem too. My left eye hurts ans is a litle swollen. No redness etc. just the pain and swollen area. I feel fluish too. But it seems like it is what you huys are explaining. will watch it for a few more days and see what happens.
I put a hot towel on my eye. I have the same condition. Putting a hot towel on your eye a few times a day will help alleviate the pain and will make the problem disappear faster. Good luck guys, and get better!
Styes do not always come to the surface of the eyelid. I get them recurrently. Just use a warm compress on the afflicted eye for 10-15 mins 3-4 times a day and it will speed up the stye bursting. I have had styes that I can't see, but I know the pain of a stye, and know when I'm about to get one. If you get them over and over again, call your doctor. You can also wash your eyelids with baby shampoo and water before bed which seems to help prevent them.
Hi All. I've read through this thread and wanted to do the same thing everyone else is doing here:
<Re-iteration of same or similar symptoms as if I had/have it all the time>
<Re-iteration of solution I already read on the same thread, but spoken in a manner that sounds like I cam up with it, because I'm a genius>
Thanks for reading,
<Empty wishes of your health and well-being>
The Internet.
P.S - I'd go with the warm cotton bud dabbing thing. I'd also go see my doctor ;-)
get an allergy test for wheat.
Hi guys. I'm 14 years old,I'm experiencing the problem right now and now I'm researching how to cure this. My mom and dad gonna carry me to the doctor tomorrow. Its not really paining but a bit puffy. I HOPE THE DOCTORS CAN HELP ME CURE IT VERY QUICKLY BECAUSE I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL. I would advise you people not to do anything with your eye,no eye drops,no ice water nothing at all BUT GO TO A DOCTOR. I will post another comment by tomorrow went I'm done from the doctor.
