"my friend" is only 16 and went to a party a few weeks ago and had some codeine before hand. "My friend" took codeine as a recreational drug but never drank alcohol with it. So as you do with party's you drink and he drank and with in 2 hours found himself on the middle of a road not breathing from mixing the two, "my friend" stopped breathing twice and suffered a concussion from hitting the group, a few weeks on and he is going through some serious anxiety problems, dont do it
I was prescribed 30mg codeine phosphate after hurting my back recently on a night out. I asked the doctor at the time if I'd be ok taking them after drinking to which he said I should be fine as long as I stick to the dosage. Again everyone differs and this isn't medical advice, however it shouldn't kill you if he was happy for me to take them! Just don't over do it

so someone put codeine into my drink and i was drinking a lot, i ended up in the bathroom puking for hours i don't remember anything else only the way my body felt, always when those too mixed it didn't mix too well with my body i was 5'2 and 120 pounds. my heart was racing and i couldn't breath.. i remember waking up in the tim Hortons about 30 mins from my house. i still don't know anything that happened but anyways since then there would be random times where its hard for me to breath and i just start puking.. can someone help me with what i should do, its been about a month or two
that's called sleep apnea, and it's dangerous
Never take codeine and alcohol at the same time. They are classified as depressant. Respiratory arrest can take place, as well as, liver and kidney failure.

i had 6 codienes while drinking think they were 400mg ones and about 18 pre mix drinks and i was fine
i'll stop mixing them. i'm lucky to be alive. i have on several occasions mixed codeine and alcohol. as much as 8 beers and up to 240 mg. of codeine over several hours.
a job has nothing to do with it. i probably make more money in 3 months than you do in a year. legally of course. have you ever done drugs?
i had 200mg of codeine last night with drink but not affected me?
You probably need to be looking after your kids properly rather than thinking about your own f*cking high.
