Ok I had 2 beers and I don't drink and smoked a bowl and had some liquid Tylenol and codiene mix. 45 minutes later, I stood up felt my throat close up on me and apparently my eyes rolled back in my head and lost consciousness, turning blue and stopped breathing. I was in the back of an ambulance and was unable to move any of my muscles. YES IT CAN KILL YOU!!! It's pure ignorance to believe that can't. I also found out I'm highly allergic to any opiotes and nearly died from Anafalxis!!!! I was at my family's 4th of July party and if their wasn't witnesses I would not have made it!!!
I know its gonna sound dumb and overly causeous but I have to put this out there. My mother is an RN for over 30 years. She is prescribed Tylenol 4 w/ codeine and has been taking about 10 a day for 15 years. She doesn't drink but maybe a glass of wine here and there. I had been prescribed Tylenol 4s when a few of my teeth were extracted and only took one. I forgot and took 2 shots. I couldn't breathe, and I almost passed out. I had to go to the er. Its not a good idea. Just because someone else didn't get the bad reaction doesn't mean you won't. The precautions are there for a reason. Listen to the doctors please, its not smart to risk your life or the quality of your life.
