I took the plan b pill pretty late in the game and I'm having crazy amounts of spotting ranging from heavy to light. I took a test and it says negative but I'm still worried...

So Ive taken plan b twice in around just under a month or a month and the second time I took it (sunday&monday) after that, I'm not sure if its because of the plan b but I've really anxious and paranoid and depressed about some things apparently this is due to th hormonal imbalance, how long can i expect this to last and has this happened to anyone else?

I took the b plan three weeks ago, three days later bleed really heavy for three days then stoped, got really depressed don't want to do any thing, gone off my food, three weeks on, my hair seams to be falling out more then normal and my body has an out break of acne more then normal and I'm peeing a lot, all pill related I suspect,

I'm going through the same thing and I took it about 5 months ago. I had my normal period then it skipped two months. Had it again and now I'm waiting for it and it's about two weeks late. I'm really nervous I'm pregnant but I am waiting another week before i take a pregnancy test

Yes I totally understand. I took plan b in June. Had a period in July and August and now it's September and I haven't received my period yet but I'm having symptoms like I'm about to start so yes it will mess with your body.

I’ve stopped taking birth control on the 27th may, my periods became regular after two months (1st day of period around the 9th of every month). On the 21st September I took plan B and had another ‘period’ 6 days later which I assume was caused by the pill. I had unprotected sex again on the 1st October which was the last day of my bleeding, then had my normal period AGAIN on the 9th but it was heavier than ever and wasn’t as sore. Also at the end of it instead of having brown/dark red bleeding I had pinkish discharge which freaked me out. Could this be implantation bleeding? Could it occur on the last day of my period? I’m also experiencing constant pinching in my uterus. I am freaking out, could this simply be the effects of plan B I took almost a month ago? Has this ever happened to anybody? ☹️

It's totally the pill. A person in a white lab coat is still a person. They learn things from books and people and experiences just like you do, and they are NOT fallible. I took the pill in April-- and got second thoughts-- reading and reading about it because the package says may prevent pregnancy even if you've ovulated which is BOGUS. If you know you've ovulated, like I knew at the time as I track my cycles via temperature, etc. don't take this pill. When I realized it was pointless, it'd been about 1.5 hours since I'd taken the pill. I made myself puke it up which was horrible-- and it was about half disintegrated. I've had bizarre bleeding in-between periods, bizarre long periods, and they've been completely irregular (I never bleed at night-- but the last 7months I bleed at night-- I had easy periods about 4-5 days-- now they're 6-8 days-- discharge in-between ovulation and period, sometimes for days-- early onset periods-- I used to ovulate anywhere from days 17-18, now I ovulate whenever, and my luteal phase is like 7 days-- so my periods might last 7-8 days, then I have 2 weeks free, then I start spotting and getting a period a week early. SUPER FUN). It is totally the pill, nothing but this stupid and falsely-advertised pill, and I can't believe there isn't more out there about how lame and pointless and horrible this pill is. Messes your hormones up long-term looks like. *I took the package back to the store, told them the pharmacy gave me false information to my queries (I'd asked specifically if the pills prevented pregnancy AFTER ovulation-- pharmacists also don't know all), and I got my money refunded. I'd have paid 10x the $50 -- at least-- for my periods and regular hormones back.

Emergency contraception will work if taken with in 72 hours but every 12 hours after ejaculation you wait before taking the percentage rate of effectiveness drops slightly, just like any contraceptive it's not guaranteed as 100% effective, you will also find emergency contraception has different after effects on different people just the same as any other medication can!
If you don't want to run the risk of getting pregnant then use another form of contraception rather than complain on here that the emergency contraception had an adverse affect on you!

I took the action pill from Walgreens (they didn't have plan b) an hour after having sex. a week later i starting to bleed for 4 days.
I am now 15 days late from last time i had my period but 2 days late from when i had the bleeding last month and I haven't had any symptom's of getting my period
I am scared to get a pregnancy test but last night i had cramps when sleeping on my stomach (which scared me because i never had cramps when sleeping)
