i got my shot nearly two months ago and went through a very painful reaction that not only caused an infection at the injection site, but caused complete body aches and pain. symptoms that all favor one who unfortunately experienced an adverse reaction to the toxins of formaldehyde mercury and the shot was not put into the correct place on my arm. It may take weeks, days who knows, but nobody on the other side will want face up and help with information and what to do medically because if you were weak or sick at the time of injection that makes you more vunerable to a reaction to this shot. I am sorry you are experiencing this as it has made my life miserable as well. I will never poison my body again with a vaccine with such toxins..... I will always say no to a tetanus vaccine.

I got a tetanus shot on Tuesday, it's now Saturday and the pain in my arm is nearly unbearable. Luckily there are no other reaction symptoms, but this pain is the absolute worst. Cant sleep on it, or move it, or lift anything. Being a single mom to a 3 yr old boy has made it very to difficult to do simple tasks. Everyday Ive been waking up and have to slowly shimmy myself out of bed... This is f**king ridiculous.

I got the shot around 24 hours ago it felt very hard and sore around 40 minutes after the shot and then I woke up this morning and it was extremely painful to touch, to move and just in general - I was dizzy and felt weak and tired. I was pale and had no colour in me. I went out to the chemist and went lightheaded I had to get a glass of water and sit down. Next thing I know I'm on the floor of the chemist with people surrounding me.
I had passed out. I've slept for 3 hours and feel much better however the arm is still extremely painful

Me too. I went to a chiropractor in hopes ultrasound would ease it. Over 2 weeks and still no relief

hello there. I also got the shots for tentanus. And yes, your arms will hurt and become red for a couple of days. But to lessen or shorten the time of it being sore and painful, try doing some exercises like moving your arms up and down. Since it is difficult to raise it let alone move it, try asking someone to raise it up and down for an interval of 30 mins during the day. Then improve the exercise by asking the person to let go half way so that you can let your muscles work (even though it hurts). Mine were slightly 'paralyzed' yesterday when I had the shots but as soon as I started these exercises last night, today it feels much much better than yesterdays. They're no longer 'paralyzed', still painful but they feel much better. So i suggest you exercise them since they're kind of locked, because you don't move them because they hurt. Oh and try doing these exercises slowly. Hope they'll feel better.

So true I feel like c**p as well but thought I'd caught a bug however now I think it's the shot. But what an awful way to go out I am thankful for this vaccine!

I got a tetanus shot and first my arm was completely fine but then the next day my arm was in severe pain. I think I am having reaction. I was sick and where the shot is it is swollen. I put icepack on it. Is this normal after tetanus shot? What I should do?
