Hello, my baby has ten months. It’s my first child and I admit that I am a bit inexperienced. Not one tooth has grown out so far and I would like to know if it is a normal situation or is there something wrong with my daughter. How should I react?
You do not have to be alarmed yet. As far as I know the first tooth may pop out after 18 months. At least that happened with my kid. I assume there is someone in your vicinity that might help you with some advices and there are plenty of books on this subject that should prove to be very helpful.
I would say your baby is fine. My grandson is 9 months old and he has not sprouted his first tooth yet either.
Tho his gums are rock hard and he drools like a human water fountain.
You can see that his little teeth want to erupt, but have not.
He is cranky a lot lately and his cheeks are red. He may have a mild temp on occasion.
His Pedi says he is fine.
