Hello everyone, I see a lot of young people here (I am 25) and I recently am having diffiulty as well with some of the above-mentioned issues. Foreword I am not a medical doctor, but also spoiler I would always recommend seeing a neurologist in case of problems. I would like to make a few comments because I have been very interested in brain health for a long time. It was only until recently after falling sick that I lost some of my cognitive processing power. Starting off it is often a common thing to lose some brain capability over time, however if you under the age of 30 and you are seeing quick worsening of your cognifitive abilty then this is usually a sign that something is wrong. This could be diet (Please please please make sure to eat vegetables especially foods with adequate amounts in Zinc, Magenesum, and B vitamins if you are young... google foods high in vitamins and superfoods if you dont know where to begin) Sleep is of course important and you should be gettting a reasonable amount each night, it is a good idea to drink water and avoid screens late at night because these are all contributing factors to brain performance and brain fog. Now going on to some of the more in depth aspects. There can be chemical imbalances being caused by a multitude of factors. Usually this is either vitamins and nutrients, hormones or your bodies genetic disposition to overproduce or underproduce certain chemicals (If you have the resources try getting a genetic consultation, because sometimes the body has genes which over express or under express leading to the inability to produce, intake, or reduce certain chemicals making you feel this way) Furthermore if you are between the ages of 8 and 16 you will likely be seeing intense chemical changes by your hormones undergoing intense shifts. It is PARAMOUNT know that this is a time your body developes into its adult stage and therefore genes you have are likely to demonstrate their real effects on your body and life more intensely. This means that you should be very very aware of the foods you put into your body and lifestyle that you undertake, because it is so so so much easier to cement these habits early on. It is also smart to avoid substances as much as possible (people will say theyve done them early and are fine, but I promise you there are real consequences ((I literally remember reading chat rooms when I was in my teenage years which said the same thing and I didn't listen and now here I am, reaffirming that those people were right and were literally just trying to honestly warn me)) If you feel like they are making you feel healthier, this is actually a sign which means there is a neurochemical issue at play and means you can adjust your eating and habits to reach very good results without turning to substance use. However, a lot of symptoms could be results of underlying psychiatric disorders which should be addressed by medical professionals (Just get them to diagnose things and be careful of medicine, because a lot of things change your underlying brain chemistry in the longterm for the worse) Try looking into supplements and natural remedies first to see if they help reduce symptoms, and if they dont improve them enough in conjunction with healthy lifestyle, then pharmaceuticals are a reasonable plan of action. To summarize my points: Things causing brain problems - Underlying neurological disease, see doctor no matter. Poor lifestyle habits and diets (Sleep, water, food, relationships, screen time, being outside, vitamins, minerals, drug use), Illness, hormonal changes, chemical imbalances, head trauma, also I want to note that sickness in other parts of the body do affect your brain so if you are having issues with other organs than they may be causing secondary results, as well as autoimmune problems. Avoid covid if possible as it is a vascular disease, not just respiratory and can hurt most of your organs. Be safe, be well, look to professionals.

Same here except my parents tell me I'm just disrespectful and I just don't wanna do it. I cant remember to take my own mess. I want to. But my parents say I don't. They never believe me. If I had a broken arm they still wouldn't believe me.
