The reality is that some parents just don't care and why should everyone else have to put up with screaming badly behaved kids. If you can't give kids the basic skills n life i.e. manners, love, time, care and respect then you shouldn't have kids. Kids are a privilege not a right!

With all due respect, your "psychology degree mastering in child development" is nothing more than verification thatyou spent money to listen to theory. Have children of your own, try to apply all you just know to be true right now, and when your kids STILL go through "terrible twos" or are born with sleep disorders that cause everyone in the household to suffer sleep deprivation for years and NO ONE can figure out what can make your child behave "normally", then maybe you can be qualified to give some real advice.

Of course it is not only the parenting causing this but I believe it is mostly the parents that are at fault for these behaviors. I am a parent of 4. All have their own personalities but they all know that this behavior is not acceptable.

Wow. Always goes back to how breeders rule the world, screw everyone else, kids will be kids. Obviously you ARE a clueless parent who has no idea how to settle your kids and teach them to be respectful neighbors when living in close proximity to others. I have had neighbors with kids that made life he'll for everyone near them and parents did not care how much you complained.

And since their kids are asshats, and they let their cars ruin your property...kharma sucks, and sometimes it's hilarious.

Im with you. Im living in hell and have had a screaming headache everyday since my neighbours moved in. I never thought I would say this either but I too am beginning to hate the sight of kids now. They may have a personality etc etc but most of the time I see a kid screaming and being an a*s is because their parents have pushed them outside so they can get a bit of peace. They kick balls over the fence and wander around my yard like its a park. When I said try not to kick the ball into the yard (from across the rd) he said whatever. They also have a skateramp in the driveway which other kids also jump and bang on as they pass. Council said nothing I can do about it its on their property. Yeah right under my window. I pay rates mortgage and every god damn inflated tax thats thrown at me but a feral renter can move into the house and can do whatever they want. Its making our house one filled with tension and I just feel like crying or screaming myself everyday now. Whats wrong with parents that dont teach their children to have respect for others space. There is a friggen park 500 metres up the rd too. I feel for you I really do. And im glad im not the only one that hates kids too.x

Dear! I feel with you, and understand you 100 %. I have lived happily the same place for many years, and I own my apt. I have 3 wonderful balconies. 9 months ago a man open a laundry and made "living room" outside. Oh my good, what a hell. He brings children there dont live here, running screaming all over. Nobody say anything only me. I get out of control, dont feel like doing things in my home. My heart is beating. One day I smashed some glasses over the balcony!!!!. This is not love to your children, many parents should teach there children, that there are other people in this world!!! Respect, education and manner. Go out to play grounds, nature and let your child use its energy, NOT in a apt. or outside front of other peoples balconies or garden. I live in Turkey and those fat mothers are glued to the chair!!! Think it is not only in Turkey, it is a new world!!! All for the children. I have heard at tourists hotel, children screaming there lungs out!!! What kind of parent is that?? Dont they think there are other people paying for a relaxed holiday?? SO SO selfish!! I fly often and what a nightmare with parents there cant control there children on a flight. Then stay home!!! Sick and tired of stupid uneducated parents!!! Your children not mine. I educated and learned them good behavior and respect for others!!!

Screaming kids are an absolute nightmare.
I will never have any of the little monsters myself. Why anyone would subject themselves to that special kind of torture (or other people having to hear their kids) is beyond me. My money then goes in my pocket instead of on another mouth to feed in this overpopulated world. Win-Win.

It is a fact that a lot of parents only have kids in order to get attention themselves. That is why the bad parents let them scream. Attention for the parents. Look at what I did!
It is the equivalent of showing someone the dump you just made in a lot of cases.
