Who are you to judge!!!! Do you think we wanted our children to be born sick or have complication as they grow. HENSE why we are asking about the future of our beautiful innocent babies. Do you think a large percentage of us who find our self pregnant on the program PLANNED THE BABIES!!! NO! WE are concerned and want to know what to expect. BE prepared and help these BEAUTIFUL WANTED LOVED CHILDREN HAVE THE BEST START.

Seriously how judgemental are you! I’m sorry to hear that your granddaughter is hyper and struggles to sit still for any length of time and has trouble sleeping but to say that it is because of methadone is ridiculous especially when you say that your son and daughter in law haven’t been able to find a good doctor. It’s almost like you think that they didn’t and don’t have a right to bear children with your hideous comment about your own granddaughter they have no one to blame but themselves.
Well I will tell you something I had my daughter on methadone. She will be 12 this year and she is extremely intelligent, does very well at school, has many friends and in general is just an all round “normal” 11yr old girl.
I can only hope that you give people better guidance instead of your own bias

I was born addicted to methadone, I am 16 years old, both my parents suffered from addiction. They both passed when I was young, too young to know. I don’t seem to have any long term effects, but I was in NICU for the first three months of my life.

" My son and his wife have no one to blame but themselves for bringing this baby into the world."
I'm sorry but you sound like a terrible person. There any many hyper 3 year olds who have sleeping issues. It could be ADHD or perhaps maybe because I don't know-THEY'RE 3 YEARS OLD.
My daughter, now 4, was also born addicted to methadone. When she was 3 she was a little hyper and had some issues with following directions but she calmed down a lot once she hit 4 and started school.
They always talk about the "Terrible Two's" but really it's the "Terrible Three's".
