I had GB removed a little over 2 weeks ago. After surgery I felt the normal pains however my prior symptoms were not bothering me. No nausea, stool was ok, and energy back. Three days ago I started getting a stabbing pain in lower right abdominal area very different than post op. So docs sent me to er for cat scan. It showed a pocket of fluid but blood work okay so they sent me home. This is the 3rd day since my tests and I'm bad sick. Hit me in middle of night and this morning I feel as if I move I'm going to purge. My incessions healing nicely and most of surgery pain gone now. Still some in lower right area. At this point just struggling with nausea badly. I see most of these posts were over a year ago. Anyone finally get over it or find relief?

It does get better. I had nausea for 6-8 weeks after my surgery, but it gradually went away. Hang in there!

Hello there, not sure if you're still checking this board but wondering if your nausea ever improved? I had mine out almost 2 weeks ago and have identical symptoms as you had. Thanks! Cara

I had my gallbladder removed in Feb 2016, so it has been 5 months. I still feel nauseated almost daily. It seems like it is worse in the morning when I just wake up. Have issues with constipation, cramps, and occasional pain.
Had multiple blood, stool and urine tests repeatedly. I thought I may still have sludge or something causing my most recent attack. I need this nausea to end. I have a fear of leaving the house anymore in fear I will be become extremely nauseated! I keep my diet pretty simple, and low fat. Just started taking probiotics to see if this helps... Someone please tell me that the nausea will end soon?!

I had gallbladder surgery 8 days ago. My doc said I would feel better in 3 days. Why the lies?? I have heard more people have trouble with this surgery than not. I am having severe nausea, light headed and panic attacks every day. I cannot imagine this lasting for months. I am already beside myself.

Hang in there. The first week is the worst. I have panic attacks whenever I leave the house, in fear of feeling terrible. Have you tried zofran yet for controlling the nausea?

I had my surgery 2 years ago. While I was being operated on my gallbladder burst. They had to ensure that all the poison was out of my system. I was hooked up to an iv with anti biotics for 5 days. Ever since I have no appetite. My stomach sometimes is as hard as a rock and I feel as much pain as I felt when I had the bad gallbladder. I have a hernia. Now GP is sending me for a but scope. Alls I know is I have lost allot of weight, and even looking at food makes me sick.
