Peace. I was so happy to find this forum. I am in my 20s and very healthy thank God :-D. I have taken 4 home tests all negative and 2 at the docs office both negative. I have had nearly every pregnancy symptom you can have: nausea, vomiting, heartburn (which I never get except when I was pregnant with my daughter), swelling and tender breasts and some leaking. I have had periods but they have been abnormal (much shorter and lighter). And recently here I have felt movement that is consistently increasing.
These doctors will make you feel like you are absolutely crazy. When they see a negative urine test and you are having any type of bleeding, they don't believe you are pregnant. I went to see my gyn for my annual appointment. Once they gave me their urine test, in her mind the door was closed to the possibility that I was pregnant. She asked if I had a history of thyroid problems which I don't neither personally nor in my family history. She tried to attribute all my other symptoms to random things. I asked for a blood test. She said they would do it. They tested my thyroid and prolactin levels but I asked the nurse about the blood test for pregnancy and they decided not to do it. When I got the test results for my thyroid and prolactin, they were normal which I knew.
Just went to see my regular doc yesterday, when I called to make the appointment I specified that I wanted the blood test because I had a negative urine test. They said fine and made the appointment. So the nurse asks for a urine specimen. It comes back negative. The doctor comes in and then she is like well it's negative so you're not pregnant. I asked for the blood test. She says well we can do it but it's going to be negative. I tell her about the symptoms and then I tell her about having my thyroid and prolactin tested and the results being normal at which point she has no other idea what to say. Yet she is still convinced I just can't be pregnant because if the urine test is negative the blood test will be too. She has never had a blood test come out positive when a urine test comes out negative and that I'd be her "first patient ever" to experience that. I told her it happened with my daughter.
I know that doctors are taught certain things and many of them cannot conceive that what they have been taught at best is not the end all to be all. It doesn't make it any less frustrating though.
With my first child, I had a negative urine and blood test but by 9 weeks I had a positive urine test. If I'm pregnant, and I truly believe I am because that is the only thing that makes sense. God knows best. Praying that all of you ladies are encouraged and get the outcome that you desire.

Wow I am so sorry to hear all this ladies :-( This just makes me so angry! What jerks no doubt. I'm In a bit of a pickle myself.. 15 weeks 1 day ago I had unprotected sex. Ever since then I have been feeling I think all the pregnancy symptoms! Nauseousness, tiredness, moody, cravings, weight gain, breast increase, breast tenderness, heartburn, my stomach is also super hard now (& has the appearance of a baby bump!) & I'm hungry All THE TiME! Lol. I think about a week or two ago I did two cheap pregnancy tests from dollar tree which both came out negative & today I did a urine test at the doctor's office though It came out negative too. %-)
But either way I'm convinced that I'm pregnant.. They took some blood from me so I'm hoping that I get a positive blood test. Though even If that's to come out negative I'm still going to ask for an ultrasound, hopefully they don't deny me of one, Lol. & I'd love to hear some opinions, What do you girls think, Pregnant or Not pregnant? I think all in all a womans intuition is hard to falter- and my intuition has never lead me astray before!
I'm 20yrs old, have been on the depo injection for nearly 3years- I recieve it every 10wks as i would bleed any later (I would not get my period on the injection)- since getting the 10wk i have not experienced any bleeding until a week before my last depo was due. The bleeding was brownish, but i thought it was like a period it lasted afew days before it stopped, I thought i must have been late for my injection, however i wasn't.
I told the nurse and she had suggested i go to the doc if any bleeding persisted after the injection- funny thing is my mind immediately thought it may have been pregnancy.
Within the next week i got very very emotional, loss of appetite & feeling feeling slightly nauseated. My friend who has just had her baby suggested that she felt the same before she found out she was pregnant & i started to wonder.
Within the next week i began to have food cravings and get very moody & irritable- the way i would when i would get my period which was rather strange, and I began to get very tired. I took a home preg test which came back negative- but my intuition has been telling me otherwise.
I went to the doc to check that I hadn't caught something as i bled one morning- all sti, smear, urine tests etc came back clear.
I had been social smoking & drinking quite a bit a month before hand and now don't feel like alcohol and not craving cigerettes at ALL! From the last few weeks I've experienced lower back pain, abdominal cramping & aching breasts- I went to family planning clinic & another urine test came back negative. that was nearly five days ago- I'm still extremely tired, frustrated, moody, emotional, craving, cramping & aching boobs- they're not tender to touch- just ache everyday on and off & nipples getting slightly itchy sometimes.
I'm so confused because I don't get my period- I don't know if it's possible that I tested too early, that the tests are wrong or if this is all in my head & i'm going crazy!!!
For now i'm sticking to my gut feeling & seeing another doc in a couple of days. Hopefully I can find out whats going on.
Good luck with all of your results- did anyone find out if they actually were/are pregnant??

Yea , them darn doctors, just are in this for the money, what happen to this world ,thank God there's a God to talk to or ,what would I do. I,m so tired of having all these symtoms and 4 urine test 1 blood test says neg, and my body just says there's a baby inside me. I'm going to give it. 3 weeks , if this don't go away I'm demanding a ultrasound. Because that girls friend found out at 5months after blood test and 5 neg urine test. That just proves that's wrong for doctors 2 just blow a lot of us off. Like yea some cases women aren't pregnant ,but they should admit that their test aren't always acurate. I had to say smthing 2 him , and made him feel stupid. Like the blood test is more acurate but smtime the hcg doesn't even show in the blood. Which makes since if u can have a baby & if ur hiv positive , ur baby may not get it from u but also can.. so let's just stay calm & take care of ourselves like we r pregnant ,try be patient with it & try every method we can to get a ultra sound.. if they don't try some where else or make up a story, I don't lie but let me tell ya ladies ,I'm going crazy with this because I am so moody its unreal. I'm praying this goes away .peeing on my self, and loud burping every 15minutes..the abdominal pains aren't bad but when I felt my ribs moving and kina painfut and the doc told me its all in my mind ,I thought wow , is he stupid because I don't even want to have a baby that badly. Ill be happy if I do or if I don't and this was coming from a obgyn doc. I even ask him to check 4 a heart beat , then he started telling me ur not and some story about sm other girl and how we can actully can go threw pregnacy and not be. But I do believe in sm parts we can but abdominal pain , real moody such as I,& stomach pains growing and boobs growing for 2mths now ,no I don't belive that... so if I find out I am or not i ll write again and let u ladies know my results.until then pray for a blessed baby & take care no matter what any1 tells u........god blesss

I am 24 years old and have been on birth control for the past 7 years. I had an incident in late april where I took my B/C pill and threw up soon after because of an upset stomach. The morning after I had unprotected sex and about 13 days later I started spotting for 9 days straight. I was in the beginning of my B/C pack so I continued taking it. Since the spotting started I have had every symptom that points to pregnancy......sore breast/nipples, nauseous in the morning, frequent urination, food adversions that made me lose 10 pounds, an increase sense of taste to where I can only drink bottled water. On top of it all, I experienced heartburn for the first time and get pounding pressure headaches when I dont eat every couple hours....I definitly dont feel normal and just know my body enough to know that something is completely different. I have taken over 8 HPT and all are negative!!! In addition, I have been to 2 different clinics for a urine test and they also came negative!!
It is so frustrating when you have to convince health professionals that you dont feel right. With a negative urine tests, these clinics are soooooo unhelpful. And being moody does not help the situation. I am trying not to stress about what I cannot control or answer. I am going to get some help from my boyfriend to pay for insurance and have an appt to see a doctor in the beginning of July, the soonest time I can get it. I wish everyone the best of luck in finding out what it going on with them.

I have also been testing my bbt and don't see any change in that either (like they say). i am only 24 years old and am in fit health, i don't drink, smoke or done any drugs in my life. Somedays i feel nausious, tired, crabby with sore breasts and other days i feel fine i can't figure it out. If anyone has any advice or has been through the same please let me know. I have finally booked an appointment with the GP today as i can't keep trying any longer without knowing =im ovulating otherwise i am wasting my time and just getting upset every month.

so glad to find this sight. I have had regular periods but about 1 month ago I started to feel nauseated and feeling twinges, fluttering and feeling really tired. I have noticed blue veins on my breasts and chest with tenderness as well. I just feel different. I too have had 2 negative HPT and a negative UA at the OB/GYN. I told him my symptoms and he said it was due to my age. I am 41 but why all of the sudden would I be feeling this. I don't have hot flashes or vaginal dryness and the other symptoms that accompany the beginning signs of menapuase. I just feel like I felt 12 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. The Doc did do an examination and just pushed down on my abdomen, which hurt but said all looked good. I know my body and there is something going on. I really feel pregnant and am really frustrated that I am going to have to wait to find out if in fact I have a baby growing inside me. I am guessing to be 11 weeks. When should I go for another test? Just want to know if I'm crazy. I don't feel alone with all these stories that sound like mine. I would love some advice. Thank you

well thank god there others out there....I am 22 and on the Mirena. I have been on the Mirena for about six weeks and have not had a period since i had it implanted. I have been nauseous, my boobs have grown and are so sore, I have those pretty blue veins that are like a road map destination my nipples! I have gained six pds in two weeks and i just feel like im pregnant. I have two blood tests which one came back negative and the other im waiting on, and six negative urine tests, my doctor would not see me at all because you cant get pregnant on the mirena, However there is a high risk of ectopic pregnancy if someone does get pregnant on the mirena and i feel the same way that i did when i was pregnant with my son who is now four. The doctors office called today and said the doctor was going to review the results of the second blood test and they would call me and if i had any questions to call. So i did because i was teaching kindergartners today and couldnt answer my phone. When i called back they said that the doctor left a message for me if i called back, to make a appt to come in and talk to her....but i cant talk to her till monday....so now i have to continue waiting. However i am now spotting again this makes twice in two weeks and im cramping.....Ugh i dont remember if this is normal or not. so im even more worried now.
I had the same problem with my first child. I had the symptoms of dizziness, nausea, diarrhea,mood swings, pudgy in the stomach area. I took a blood test and a urine test and they were both negative. A month and a half later i took the urine test again and I found out that I was pregnant. The trans-vaginal ultrasound confirmed that I was 2 months pregnant. I hope everyone finds the answer they need soon. Im going through the same symptoms again. MY DAUGHTER IS NOW 5 MONTHS so she will probably have a sibling soon.
Have any of you ladies looked this up online? I've searched over site after site this past week. I would say at least 5 or 6 sites per day, with at least 20 women per site posting in the threads about this happening to them: negative pregnancy tests, some even had negative blood tests, and they found out later they were pregnant. So that's 840 women that have documented this happening to them. And most of the sites I visited had numerous pages of comments that I didn't read (so that means there's MORE women going through this than that!) Think of how many cases I could find if I actually went past the first page on the sites and looked for more than a week. So my point is- Why are doctors still saying that this is impossible? A lady on one of the sites said she actually gave birth, and when she asked her doctor how she could have been pregnant with negative tests, he told her she "must not have been pregnant." How can a doctor see a woman give birth and still say she wasn't pregnant? Why are these doctors not documenting these cases? I guess if the doctor didn't actually give prenatal care, there would be no record of her pregnancy?

My job doesn't offer medical insurance and right now I'm having a hard time finding anything more than part time work.

hey everyone im 18 years old ive been on the pill nearly 3 years apart from the pill me and my ex had sex un protected now iv constant nausea for the past month my belly seems to be getting bigger my period came last week for 1 day and it was brown in colour i got white discharge that smells funny i iv been getting sick too but a urine test says negative in the doctors two weeks ago i feel sick all day everyday and i cant keep food down long please help my breasts are fine i think but my bellys tender i seem to go to the toilet alot too not just to pee please help
