Negative urine test, regular period but severe symptoms!

Pls help.. Reading all this comments got me all frustrated.. I was sexually active two weeks ago and i got my periods but it wasnt as normal but although i dont usually get normal periods every month. And wats confusing that last week i been throwing up every morning, mild and felt different like am pregnant.. so i took three home pregnancy test and all came negative.. I also pee frequently.. am i pregnant or this is all in my head.. And why do i feel i am pregnant but the test says am not... pls help... am new to this..

hi im going threw the same thing my period is normal but I been feeling wired and my boobs are growing very fast and my stomach is growing and it makes no sense my text came back negative.. but whys the only place that's growing is my stomach and boobs

HI I HAD A PERIOD 09/13/13 AND ON 10/08/13 I HAD ANOTHER PERIOD THAT ONLY LAST 2 IN A HALF DAYS. I BEN HAVING ALL SYMPTOMS OF PREGNANCY EVEN SWOLEN VAGINA AND HARD STOMACH AND SWOLE BREAST WITH STRETCH MARKS. I TOOKE TWO TEST AND THEY WERE NEGATIVE AND THE DOCTOR TOOKE ONE AND IT WAS NEGATIVE.IM NW AT THE HOSPITAL AND THEIR TEST WAS NEGATIVE NW IM WAITING ON MY BLOOD RESULTS AND PELVIC REULTS..NT TO MENTION WHEN I WOKE UP THIS MORNING AND WENT TO THE BATHROOM I SAW DATK BROWN BLOOD ONLY WHEN I PEE AND NW WHN I PEE ITS DARK BROWNISH RED...SO IM JYST WAITN TO SEE WAT THE DOCS HAVE TO SAT...HOPE ITS GOOD BECAUSE I REALLY WANT A BABY.

Well i had many neg HPT'S, neg urine test at doctor, had a blood test but don't know result yet... Regardless of the result i am demanding an ultrasound... Because i know false negatives are possible for both urine and blood tests. I will update as soon as i know results. I am currently 28 weeks 4 days pregnant, my stomach is bigger and hard and i feel movements (since week 15), so if i am not pregnant there is something very seriously wrong with me. And there is no question about the gestational age of this pregnamcy as the only time i could have conceived was May 8, 2013.. I did a home insemination. I know my own body and know something is different. I know i am pregnant and now am waiting on the results of the blood test tomorrow and then i am making an appt for an ultrasound with my OB right away. By the time they do the ultrasound i will be 29 weeks! The only way i will believe i am not pregnant is with a neg ultrasound. The ultrasound will prove if there is a fetus in my uterus or not. I definitely hope there is after all the symptoms of pregnancy i have had...

I really hate how doctors and nurses treat you so rudely when you get a negative urine pregnancy test.. They treat you like you are crazy and act like there is no way you can be pregnant! Yes there is!!! There are many false negative urine tests! A negative urine test does NOT necessarily mean you are not pregnant. I know women who never got a pos urine test and were pregnant!! It is also possible to have a neg blood test and be pregnant!! Demand an ultrasound!

Erinn again giving an update: my blood test was negative but my ultrasound was positive. I am pregnant!!!!!! And i have known it all along, i am now exactly 30 weeks pregnant today...November 20, 2013. I am due January 29, 2014. So to recap- i am one of those women that had a negative urine and blood test but am pregnant!! Also i have had monthly vaginal bleeding every month of this pregnancy. It was brown and shorter and lighter than a normal period. I had implantation bleeding in May and every month since then i have had monthly bleeding! And i am pregnant! So it is possible to have negative tests and bleed monthly during pregnancy! An ultrasound is the only 100% proof of pregnancy. My advice is get an ultrasound if you have pregnancy symptoms, even if you have negative urine and blood tests. If the ultrasound is negative you are NOT pregnant. Mine was positive. I knew i was pregnant with all these Pregnancy symptoms i had, eventhough i had negative tests and monthly bleeding. ( I had many pregnancy symptoms. ) And I knew it wasn't wishful thinking and it wasn't all in my head. My ultrasound was positive. There is a baby growing inside me! My blood test was negative but my stomach was growing bigger and hard and i felt movements and finally an ultrasound proved it. Hope this helps someone out there. Those tests can be wrong. Don't trust them. And don't trust doctors. Trust your body, trust your instincts/intuition and get an ultrasound... I knew something was different with my body and i demanded an ultrasound and i am pregnant...Good luck to all you women out there who want to be pregnant. I hope you get positive results.

I am so relieved that my pregnancy was finally proven with an ultrasound! All the doctors and nurses thought i was crazy. They were all wrong!!

Bottom line: a negative urine and a negative blood test does NOT always mean you are not pregnant.

And i said don't trust doctors because they can be wrong, they automatically assume that a negative urine test means you are not pregnant when that is not true. There are many false negatives on these tests. Many women do not test positive on urine or blood tests but they are pregnant. And an ultrasound confirms it. Many pregnant women never test positive on those tests. But most doctors refuse to do an ultrasound if there is a negative urine or blood test. Get an ultrasound no matter what! Doctors only go by test results. They don't listen to our symptoms or believe in false negatives. An ultrasound is the only 100% proof of pregnancy. I was really frustrated dealing wirh the medical community the last few weeks. I was made to feel like i was crazy and i am really angry about it. No one was listening to me and noone believed me! I didn't even get the ultrasound at my doctors office. (Although my doctor did agree to do it even with a negative blood test.) I went to an independent elective ultrasound place that confirms the pregnancy and gives you the gender in 2D or 3D/4D... And color pictures! I found out in less than 10 minutes i was indeed pregnant... And then brought the pic back to my doctor as proof... They were beyond shocked that i was pregnant... I knew it all along... So that's my long story... 30 weeks pregnant today...only 8 to go.

I'm having the symptoms but no period since Sept 1 2013 bit the urine test said negative but I know im pregnant.

Why is no one letting us know they were in fact pregnant after negative test results or having their period? It mus be because they weren't. Either way, I'm also going through the same thing. Have all symptoms; twinges in breasts and tummy, sore nipples, dizzyness, headache randomly, peeing alot, very sore lower back and since 4 days exhausted. I've been pregnant 3 times so I know how it feels. Had a 2 day late period, shorter and lighter and spotting before and after and HPT are negative! Very frustrating not knowing why or what's going on.

Could this all be just hormone related? Maybe we were pregnant but the embryo didn't 'take' so to speak. It happens all the time. Maybe these are after effects from pregnancy hormones overload?

I'm going through the same thing I know im pregnant but I been getting negative urine and blood tests. The doctor told me to get it out my mind that im not pregnant but I know otherwise and he wouldn't even do an ultrasound.

I have been feeling nauseated and even thrown up a couple times. I have had diarrhea and constipation. I have taken 4 @ home pg tests and they were all negative. My breasts are sore and tingly.  If I were to be pregnant, I figure I would be around 8 weeks but since my @ home pg tests came out negative, I don't want to go to the dr looking like a fool thinking I am pregnant, but I do know something is happening to my body and as crazy as this sounds, I feel pregnant. With my first child, I found out that i was 6.5 weeks pregnant when I went into the dr but that was after taking 7 @ home pregnancy tests and they all came out negative... I really don't know what to do.. I am scared and trying not to get excited even though I feel that I am pregnant... The symptoms are just too real not to be... :/

when I was 19 I thought I was pregnant had a "miscarriage" and went on with my normal day to day life ... about a month later I took a p.t. because I felt queezy, even though I had not missed a cycle , it was negative... four months later I went to the doctor for stomach pain and found out I was 7 months pregnant, had what I THOUGHT was a cycle every month .. no other major symptoms , but now I have a 7 year old handsome son !
