I was in a car accident at the end of December and luckily only suffered minor injuries, i did get my left leg trapped under my steering wheel which then bruised my bone and left nerve damage so severe i haven't felt that part of my leg ever since... i went to a follow up appointment but they had nothing to tell me, i'm just curious... will this ever go away? should i return to the doctor? and are blood clots something i should be worried about?
No, if you have severe nerve damage then you will not be able to feel your leg or at least that part of it. As for anything else for you to be concerned about, sure, you will run a risk of blood clots, but it'd be the same as if you didn't have nerve damage. The most important thing now is just to ensure you don't injure your leg unwittingly. I hope that this helps?
