Hey all....

I had my first implanon put in 2004, and removed after 2years due to a break up and wanting to give my body sum time to detox. I had another  inserted  about 12months later for about 2 years again then removed for similar reasons. then when I got my 3rd inserted it was due to expire feb 2013, I had it removed very early march 2013, so was 1 month over. Very very rarely got my monthly during all 3  implanons.... It is now almost May and I still haven't had 1 yet. Also haven't had sex since December, and have had cosmetic surgeory recently so After all the tests am def not pregnant! No plans to get pregnant any time soon.... if at all lol. But was wondering if anyone experienced anything similar and then ended up finally getting them. Even tho I don't have plans to have kids, I guess I still want to know that option hasn't been taken from me, I want to know my body is ok and that in the future if I do want to go down that path that it is freely going to be possible.

thanks in advance all!

hi there i had my implanon out on the 17th january 2013, today is the 22nd april 2013. I havent had so much as a spotting, never mind a period. The doctor told me i could have a bleed as soon as the implant was removed yet still nothing.I had the implanty removed as it made me pile weight on i also suffer from depression all to which the doctor thinks the implant was to blame so i made the choice of having it removed.ive since lost around 2 stone in weight my mood is 100percent better all i need now is my periods to be back i havent had any pregnancy symptoms other than been tired mid day which isnt normally me and i get back ache and heart burn now and again. ive done 3 tests all to which have come back negative, do u reckon i should go see my gp? or has someone else experienced this please help

I had my implanon removed 04-13-2013 and today is 38 days later (little less than 5 1/2 weeks) and still no period. My husband and i are wanting to try for a child soon and would be blessed to be pregnate right now but i've taken pregnancy tests and all are negative. My doctor said it could take up to 2 months to get your period back! It all verys on your body unfortionatly. I've seen alot of women say that you're most fetal right after removal of implanon so its possible to concive with no period.
i see its been 8 months since your post so just curious what happened for you? Thank you!

Hi seems like I'm not the only one looking for this info! Looking for a wee bit of advice, I had the nexplanon out in the 27th June and had sex with my hubby everyday for a week after removal (apparently a sign of ovulating?) anyway I'm not sure when your periods are meant to return. Thing is I'm getting back pain, sore breasts felt sick last week and I'm loaded with cold infection. When should I take a pregnancy test? I've taken a couple last week and one the other day (all neg!) Feeling a bit silly as I'm mum to 3 but this nexplanon seems to have thrown my body right out of sync! Any advice would be fab thanks!

Hi I had implanon in for 3 yrs then nexplanon put in June 2012, I had it removed 26th November 23rd and still nothing. I have tested numerous times and 3 weeks ago got BFP!! After taking tests the morning after (which were neg) and speaking to doctor she says this was a chemical pregnancy, so obvious I have ovulated but still no period, HELP please

Hi! I'm the same, had it removed on 5th December 2013 and I had AF at the time, but like a lot of people had almost weekly AF for the 2 years it was in- prior to that my cycles were like clockwork. After it was taken out AF that I had didn't get heavier or anything and lasted maybe 3 days? I then felt like I ovulated twice my DH and I are TTC #1 so we had sex regularly. It's now almost 6 weeks later. No AF, yesterday I had 2 spots on my panty liner. Have taken a lot of preg tests inc a blood bHCG and as of Wednesday all were negative. But for the last 2 weeks I have been exhausted, nauseous, urinating frequently and had the mild tummy cramps that suggest implantion of the egg. I'm confused as to know whether or not the 2 spots of blood were my period, or am I still waiting? I would really love to be pregnant so waiting for my body to settle after implanon is frusturating. Especially when my GP says that your body returns to normal the day after it comes out. I'm still going to test again in one week just to double check I'm not pregnant. Frusturated but not feeling so alone that a lot of people are seemingly getting these symptoms! Any advice or previous success stories would be welcome please!

We are the same apart I never had af whilst implant was in and had it out 7 weeks now with nothing. 2 days after removal I had terrible back ache and stomach pains which suggested af was on the way. I tested positive on 8 December but unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy but I have had nothing since, I have an appointment to see my doctor next week
