The testicle pain does seem to be associated with the back, even though there is rarely pain directly in the back.

February 28, 2011 I had a total knee replacement, I had several spin-off problems from the surgery but one is the Hamstring down the back of my right thigh (the leg of the knee replacement) sometimes it gets so tight I think it is going to pop.  I also have a pain in my groin area about 8 inches back from my right testicle to my right testicle that aches.  For years before my surgery I would occasionally at night wake up with severe cramps in my right leg.  I think this was caused from a lack of potassium.  Anyone have any ideas.

A nerve runs from your back down through your groin and down your leg.  That is why if you get a back injury, as I did in my L5 disk, pain will travel throughout that nerve track, and so pain may be felt in your leg, testicle (only one side usually depending on which nerve), and back.  I had hurt my back from leg pressing too much weight (my legs were stronger than my lower back...ouch).  It took me 6 months for the pain to go away, and about 2 years to be somewhat comfortable again.

I have the similar symptoms off and on for about 25 years. The pain can come on either my left or right side, with a painful swelling of my testicle, a deep inner pain down my leg to my knee, and a painful swelling under the knee. It is a constant pain that prevents sleep. Taking Ibuprofin helps. It lasts for about 2 weeks and then goes away for a while. Sometimes I can go several months without a re-occurance. Then it will hit me on either my right or left side. I've never had it on both sides at the same time. I've seen several doctors, but so far not a diagnosis or effective treatment. One doctor suggest doxycylene? I'm think it may have helped, but since the pain comes and goes, it may have just been a coincidence. Another suggested Ibuprofin, which helps.  Please let me know if you have a good diagnosis/treatment. Thanks.

I have had the EXACT same symptoms as jaycarmea for the past two years. Doctors have ruled out hernia and epididymis and have basically told me they haven't got a clue what's going on. These last few days I've begun to think that a herniated disc might be the culprit even though the lower back pain is pretty much non-existent compared to the testicular/inner thigh soreness. 
Anti inflammatory drugs provide some relief but a lower back massage works even better.

I would say for the last couple days i have been getting a pain in my right testicl  and it shoots up to my stomach?  i have been doing heavy lifting like Transmissions and things  normal  when i walk it hurts like i getting kicked by a baby in the sack, or say if someone flicks ur balls with their finger but only on one side.

Hi. I know this was posted over a year ago, just wondering what your outcome was? As I myself have this problem and maybe help someone else. Its the tendon nerve that runs to testicle, my doctor pressed just under my right testicle"inner groin" and is definitely tendonitis. Also some people may need an antibiotics for this my doctor said, work and no rest will flare it up,so mine never really heals. Pain can go further down leg with this. Mine was heavy lifting related.

I had same symptoms for a year no antibiotic would cure me plz take vitamin B complex and cranberry pills from Gnc....after 3 day doze i was totalky fine i had for a moth totally recoverd from urine burn and right testicle pain....they said i had epiditimys

I have a discomfort (moderate pain) 4-5 out of 10 in pain when I'm sitting, from my right testicle up to lower abdomen area for about 3 weeks now, dr. Looked at it and didn't find anything, pain seems to be worse, could be Epifidymiyis or Testicular Torsion. Looking for advice or ideas on problem.

I'm 13 and I have been experiencing pain in my right testicle for over 3 months now. Is it because of me masturbating with a hand massager or from taking ADD medicine like Ritalin?

When I urinate, I am fine. But when I bend down or in a certain position, I feel a slight pain in my right testicle (not agonizing pain, but I do feel it). What is that?
