I also suffer the same pain-at the tail end of spinal. when I set there is a momentary pain not sever, and it settles after a moment. some time there is a sound like burst of a bubble. many times if there is a job of sit-stand, every time there is a momentary pain and some time not. there is not pain when pressed or passing the stool. doctors say not to worry.
Thank you so much, will try the ball and bathtub.
I have something very similar to this and the pain is only relieved after passing gas or having a bowel movement. I will not have medical coverage till July'13 so I can't really do anything till then. I am 66 years old with arthritis.

I seem to be in the same boat - I've had soreness at the tip of my tailbone for weeks. they've taken pix and can't find anything. It isn't swollen and has no demonstrable signs - just hurts for no apparent reason. I have looked for answers and everything seems to not apply (cysts, trauma) so what to do?
Hi, I am now having this pain and is very worried. I was too lazy to go see the doctor, but the pain is slowly leaving. At first, I could not sit and sleep, but could walk and run. The reason the pain is slowly going away is because i bought this patch from the pharmacy. I can now sit and sleep comfortably, but sometimes it hurts a little.
I have a some what similar pain but it feels like a bone. its to hard to be a bump or anything. it came one day after a basketball game. I couldn't sit on my butt because it hurt sooo bad. it finally went away. then it came back about 4 weeks later. i think it moves sometimes too. i'm really starting to get worried. it has never woke me up from sleep. im only 15, I need answers fast
I have the same pain. What did you do to solve this issue?
I have had this off and on for years. I do think it is related to my cycle and the food I eat and the amount of stress in my life. It seems to be a nerve pain or some nerves firing off on my cocyx. I am thinking B vitamins, C vitamins and L-Lysine will be helpful. I have it right now and I have the most recent cold still, so my body is run down. It also may be related to the Chicken Pox/Shingles/Herpes family...Hope this helps.
