This is exactly my experience as well. Everything is different after my second child was born. Have you found any answers, I am just starting to look into this myself
This is the second time I've seen exercise and healthy eating before I start will help. Thanks. I'll stop hanging my laundry on that elliptical and get my butt back on it.
Check your thyroids... It MIGHT be it causing it, its what happened with my mom years ago before even having one of us
It has nothing to do with your iron levels I also have pain as well when I use the restroom the pain is caused by your blood vessels being swollen while your cycle is on and althought the swelling of vessels is normal,if the blood is thick it causes the pain to be more intense so you neeed something that will thin it a little bit
I have been going through exactly like you. Can you please update about your GI appointment.
endometriosis Can only be seen through laporsopic surgury that's why a lot of women go on not knowing
The only difinitive way to diagnos endometriosis is through laparoscopy. An operation that a small incision is made by your navel and camera is inserted into the pelvis. A doctor may tell you you have endometriosis by your symptoms but it can only be confirmed by this surgery. My sister has this and has suffered for years. She recently had a full hysterectomy as hers was aggressive. I hope this info helps.
I also have the same problem and have been diagnosed with pelvic congestive syndrome. When I get my period everything gets so inflamed it puts pressure on my bowels and hurts like crazy if I have gas or a bowel movement. After the first couple days of my period it passes. Birth control hasn't helped however I'm extremely sensitive to hormones so choose to deal with the pain rather than all the side effects I experience from the pill. On the flip side, my sister dealt with pain like this and she was diagnosed with internal hernias pretty far up from childbirth. After getting those worked on she feels a lot better. So those are 2 Suggestions I have for you all to look into!
So glad i found this thread, was really wondering if i was all alone in this. Have to say that everytime i exercise regularly and eat healthy the pain decreases.
It helps a little if you take some pain report about an hour before you need to go it's still very sore but just not as bad - it's an awful thing I dread it every month
I suffer from the same symptoms. Now having an IUD has worsened my pains
If you're ok not having a period you could try the birth control called the Depo shot. I was on it for some time and it was amazing because I didn't have a period or all the pain that comes with it. But I would educate yourself on it before you take it so you know it's right for you. I got off of it to get away from the man made hormones.

Heidi knows what’s she’s talking about. I was diagnosed with endometriosis about five years ago and the pain when your on your period and try to poop is one of the common symptoms. So if you haven’t been checked out I would do so ASAP.
Try eating gluten free and staying away from foods with a lot of estrogen in them. This has really helped me and it slows the profession of my endometriosis.
