he says he has had it for a whilebut it is painful to touch
I don't know, but you need to take that kid to the doctor. :-D
Well,
The fact that he has a lump in the scrotum means that something serious is going on. Also you have to know that there are several things that can affect this condition in toddlers. For instance this can be caused by hernias. Have you noticed any more symptoms that could indicate that this is a hernia? Also have you noticed any swellings in the scrotum? If he has some sort of urinating problems he really needs to see a doctor to see what is really causing this problem. Does he have any pain in his scrotum? Or maybe he has pain when his lump is touched? I hope this helped in any way.
All the best,
Nelie
