Got the same problem bub. Acne cream, Alcohol and neosporine best I can say that works

It’s so good to read that I’m not alone. I’ve been so embarrassed. I’ve actually avoided sex due to embarrassment when they’re prominent. I’ve also been damned worried, but tried to ignore them.

I’m a 35-year-old man who has been chunky since I was about 8. I first started getting them when I was in my late teens. I’ve been a smoker since I was 14. I still smoke about a half a pack a day, but I vape most of the time (used to smoke 2 packs a day). As another poster mentioned I also have stretch marks in my groin and they do seem to develop both “inside” of the stretch mark and “outside” of them.

I can say that using medicated body powder does seem to make them worse.

I get them in my inner thighs and on the outer edge of my butt crack. Sometimes they’re shallow and can be evacuated, though when I do squeeze them, some clear puss comes out, but it never seems like enough to make them feel like they’re empty; it’s not like squeezing a pimple. The deeper ones only swell, get hard, and may or may not get red or purple in color. I’ve tried squeezing them to evacuate them, poking holes in them with needles to try to evacuate them, and on a couple of occasions I’ve opened the skin. On those occasions the blades seemed to be hitting something like a pebble and little by way of the clear puss came out. When I did that I contacted my primary care doctor who prescribed me antibiotics. I should note that I cleaned the blade and the skin area thoroughly with soap and water and then 91% rubbing alcohol. The antibiotics did make them go away for a time. I’ve also tried simply rubbing over the skin with rubbing alcohol to no avail.

To date the only thing that does make them go away is applying Neosporin on them. I didn’t think it would work, especially for the deeper ones, but much to my surprise it makes them disappear in a matter of a day or two. I can’t explain why.

This thread prompted me to search for clogged sweat glands in the groin and I found an article about something called Hidradenitis suppurativa. It seems to hit spot on as a description as to what we might have, but it offered next to no useful information in treating it.

Did you find out how to get rid of it? I have the same issue but seems like I've tried almost everything and it hasn't went away.

Even my brother has faced this and after consulting to a senior doctor, he finally got some relief.
