dude, i had the same effect man, i didnt feel normal for weeks. so what i kept smoking for months. i noticed it happens for the first 4 or so months of smoking pot, and gradally goes away. ive been smoking for almost a year and i typically feel 'different' the next day, but it goes away. i seriously suggest that you keep smoking, but get diffrent bud. do it for at least a couple more months. i noticed after about 7 months it will go away. i feel great, it went away for me, and what i did was smoke through it. i seriously felt the same as you dude, and dont worry it should go away in some time.

General state of paranoia comes in the many forms of over-analyzing, judging people, judging yourself, scared of being judged by other people, or just not knowing what the f** is going on. Deep thoughts of the most random things. Self-doubt. Watching your life happen through your eyes (robot/transformer experience). Shivering, heart racing episodes.
All these are different kinds of bad trips. What this tells you, is that you're not ready to get high yet, and you're holding back a lot of things. The art of getting high is to let yourself completely go mentally, emotionally and physically. Getting high is a lot more powerful than people think 'getting high' is. THC is a powerful drug, that people always, always overdose on. Have more respect for weed and put it on a pedestal. Treat it with care and smoke up slowly. LESS is more.. that is key. Take one puff/hit and wait 15 minutes for your body to absorb it. I guarantee that your high will become so much better when you're controlling your intake like a champ. Have discipline, self-control and smoke up with moderation. Understand what moderation means, which is sharing a small dooby snack with 4-5 people. Don't roll a dooby and get stuck with it with you and a buddy. You are automatically forced to finish it and thus push your high past your mental threshold into the BAD TRIP ZONE. If you're smoking with a limited number of people, take a pipe with you and just smoke 1/2 a bowl collectively. Mix the green with the brown. Dilute the potency of the THC by mixing in tobacco from cigarettes. Aka blunts - will give you a great high, mentally and physically. The tobacco will give you the head rush you need, and the weed will keep you high.
Friends and the company you're with is crucial when you smoke up. Chose your high circle very selectively. Good traits are: non-judgmental friends, people who don't care if they themselves are being judged, and people who don't put down other people to make themselves seem better (i.e genuinely good-hearted people). Make sure you're not smoking with someone you care about very much because that can f*** with your emotions, e.g like the girl/boy you have a crush on. Keep this tight knit of circle close to you. They are the ones you can normally trust, when sober or high. They are there to keep you safe and experience the same ride with you, without raining on your party.
Now, the Good Trips are definitely worth smoking pot. Everyone's good trips are different, they can see and hear different things. When you're not scared or analyzing things, you're normally in a state of awe and curiosity. Usually laughing uncontrollably and having the greatest fun time of your life. Its good to have at least one joker in your circle, who is hilarious when high. You can indulge in whatever you want when high, and it will make it 10 times better than doing it sober. Listening to music, eating food, playing games, enjoying nature, melting in a sauna/steam room. I don't advise going swimming in a cold pool as weed tends to exaggerate your feelings and emotions, thus making you feel 10 times uncomfortably cold. So keep your activities to pleasant, feel good things to experience the high in its fullest glory.
My experience of the worst bad trip is comparable to some that few people have also mentioned. The paranoia trip and robot/transformer experience continued on in my sober life, severely affecting my reactions and control of myself. The cause for this was trying some of the most premium grade weed in a large ridonculous dose. I hadn't been smoking for almost a year and then BAM, all of a sudden I was taking the biggest hits of my life with the most potent sh*t imaginable. Of course my tolerance was next to nothing, and not knowing my limits and the potency of the weed I overdosed. But it was like.. a sh*t load of weed, talk about overdosing, and then and overdose of the overdose - that's where I was. The whole week and a half after, I was continuously on this bad trip and thinking I was headf*cked. This lead me to trying to detox and get it out of my system to make sure that I wasn't turning crazy. Eventually I returned back to normal (after about 2 weeks).
I learned from that experience that:
a) I wasn't crazy after all
b) The bad trip DOES end eventually
c) I smoke way past my limits due to lack of knowing
Okay to sum up on how to maintain a good experience while smoking up:
1) Release your inhibitions, and just free yourself - mind, body and soul. Prepare for the high that's to come and fully expect it.
2) Pick your high circle carefully with people you trust and have fun with. Avoid contact with 'judgers' wile high.
3) Smoke in moderation. Less is more. The slower you smoke, the more masterful you become. 1 or 2 puffs, every 15-20 minutes carefully monitoring your high level. Don't push your mental threshold. If you're happy, stay happy and don't smoke anymore.
4) Know your weed.
5) (Optional but highly recommended) Mix the green with the brown - 50/50 or 30/70 with more brown.
Last words of advice are, don't be too paranoid in life and don't judge yourself with criticism. Love yourself and be happy! Now, lets get high!

4) Eventually you will get caught...By someone... who, when, where? who knows... but its growing up.. and its just pot.

Simple awnser is moderate it if u are smoking a bowls worth u may need to cut back seeing u have not been smoking that long have a joint and once u feel it wear off have another some times the blurryness and things feeling like a dream can be a sign to stop i have also had freinds with these symptoms but the causes where from withdrawls there body was trying to compensate for not having the weed because its easy to get addicted to weed alot of ppl say that u cant but its proven u can also anoter thing that may be causing this is if you are taking pain killers or anything like that aswell because ur body may condition its self to make more use of the pain killer to compensate for lack of weed
so cut back on the weed have a joint or two

Hey, okay the exact same thing happened to me when I first smoked pot, even though I smoked quite a bit my first time (4 grams).. and I got extreme paranoia, and I honestly thought that it would never go away and my entire like with gunna be F**ked.. but it did go away after about 3 weeks slowly.. the key is to stop thinking about it and just to slowly stop telling yourself in your head that your screwed and go back to your normal schedual and go on with your daily routine and slowly it will go away I promise..believe me I was 15 when I did it first too and I had to endure school for 3 weeks not knowing what was going on but it all got better.

It will most likely go away but you have damaged yourself and now you will live with that for the rest of your life. If you are smart you will stop and never do it again, don't believe all the people who say it is harmless. For a small percentage of people it is extremely harmful and can cause permenant disability. Maybe those people would have wound up like that anyways, but the pot just speeds up the process. Stop now, don't listen to anyone, it's your life and if you want to be disabled and alone at 30 with no friends and in a world of pain where you have to smoke all the time to stop the pain then keep smoking it that is where it will take you.

hey, im 15 and i got high for the first time about three weeks ago. between me and two other people, we smoked an entire dub 15. i smoked waay too much for my first time. even before i was high i was really nervous. so i guess that just made it worse. after we smoked we all went to taco bell. i had no idea what i was doing. it felt like a dream. after i got there i freaked out and walked home and slept. it was a terrible experience. i believe that if i had followed some of the advice on here; not smoke so much, dilute it with tobacco, be in a better state of mind. i would have had a much better experience. i plan on smoking again soon, and im gonna try and not make those same mistakes again.

this happened with me too, i used to be fine when i smoke but lately i've been really quiet/anti-social and paranoid. I am going to take the advice of previous posters and not smoke when im uncomfortable. I had a really bad trip yesterday. About my 4-5th time smoking weed. When it first hit me, about 10 minutes after I'd smoked, I was starting to see everything 2 dimensional. It was kinda freaky, but cool, at the moment. Then, I couldn't my see clear with my eyes.

So this same thing everyone is talking about here happened to me as well..only worse.
I was with about 4 other friends and we all smoked in the same place and the exact same type of weed, same amount of hits and all. About a half an hour later, we were driving and i freaked out. i wanted out. i jumped out of the truck before the driver could completely stop it. everyone seemed like they were in my face, their faces swirled together and their laughter and words were all scrambled in my head like a thousand different voices. i know the pot wasn't laced because we all smoked the same and same amount and im the only one who tweaked out. anyway, it was about 20 degrees outside and after getting out of the truck, i stood in one place scared to move because the "people watching" would get us...i know how being high and really high feels like and that was not at all similar. I knew something was wrong and was trying to tell the people i was with but they were all high and thought i was crazy. i knew in my mind something was wrong but i couldn't do anything about it...i tried pulling my teeth out thinking they felt loose...i thought my nose was running but it wasnt, and i was trying to "rub" my lip off...this sounds like an acid trip or meth but we all smoked the same thing....it was the scariest thing that's happened to me...i have smoked once since then and it happened a little...all the paranoia..but i laid down and things were ok.....but im not sure if i should smoke it again...so idk im in the same situation here..
