I would like to know what is considered by PAT, all the info there is. Can I leave that to my insurance company or it is something I have to do by my self? Also, do I have to pay there immediately after I am admitted or…anyway ….I need to know the procedure. Thanks.
Well, my sister works as I nurse, so I asked her about PAT. I didn't know what it is…she said something like "Patient tests performed on an outpatient basis prior to admission to the hospital". Anyway I believe that every hospital has its own procedure, so I don't think that I can give you all the info there is. The best thing you can do is to call your insurance company to clarify your healthcare benefits and then call registration representative who will let you know what documents you need to bring.
