If you ever determine what will help this condition please share it with me. Ive got the same thing as Ive been to several doctors saying its a contact dermatitis to Psoriasis blah blah blah. Like you I have tried all the prescription Clobetasols etc and nothing is doing the trick. I did get a cortosone shot last month but the peeling and cracking has resumed.

I also have had the same issue. I have seen Dr.'s who seem to prescribe  steroid creams. Honestly it has not worked. They will blister as well. When a blister forms it happens all at once and I can literally watch them form. Very painful. The skin will then begin to harden and will peel off in very deep sections.   I don't like the way they look, but the discomfort is far my disturbing. When they get very bad they peel and crack again right away. I will have to say the steroid creams have been a superb waist of time for me and  soaking my feet and applying the cream, a lotion made of buttermilk then applying petroleum jelly was well to say the least useless as well. That is what the Dr. has had me doing nightly and then morning steroid cream and lotion again. Would seriously love to be able to just not have to battle with this.

I have a similar condition on my fingers especially and it spread to my hands. My skin is very dry, I'm in my thirties and look like I have the hands of my grandma, it gets quite painful and it is burning at times, I can see tiny little bumps under my skin and my skin is all red and inflamed....It is like a cycle....it gets red, swollen, painful, then it dries up, cracks, bleeds at times, then it starts all over again. A doctor prescribed me clobetasol wich is for eczema, psoriasis and maybe contact dermatitis and it didn't work. But I am thinking it is more like a fungus and this sounds like it. Now I put a natural, vegan, anti fungal, antiseptic, and antibacterial cream called Skinbiotics Treatment Crème wish Tea Tree and Oregano from dermale and my hands felt better instantly. I bought this in Whole Foods. I am on day two of the treatment and my hands already look normal. I think lots of doctors prescribe steroid creams thinking it is some kind of eczema or contact dermatitis when it really is a fungus. Try an anti fungal cream and see if that works.....!!!

Im not a female, so I apologize if this is a female only forum but in the infantry, we use rubbing alcohol with cotton balls or a cloth to wipe our feet off. It helps kill any bacteria or ripped skin from marching and drys out the feet fast but doesnt cause dry skin. Although we are told alcohol on skin for long periods is bad but I dont know what it does.

I have read all the complaints below about hands and feet peeling until they bleed and are very sore. My Dermo diagnosed me with psoriasis andpsoriatic arthritis (thru blood test) Very painful!! I take a methatrexate injection once a week, helps the psoriatic arthritis but does nothing for the peeling of hands and feet. It's awful and HURTS!!!

Hi Ladies and gents

i m 27 male .... I have the same issue which is being discussed but my problem is only on my second toe of right foot in a small circle which hardens, gets very dry,  itchy and when i scratch it the skin peels off leaving the inner layers exposed and bleeding (Its bleeds in very tiny drops like sweat). Then the new skin develops and the same process repeats all over again.

its been there since 3 to 4 years now and my dermo couldn't figure it out, the only reason she could come up with was the skin of that particular toe gets rubbed against my shoe,  which doesnt seem very logical as i always wear socks. So please share if you hv any suggestion or solution Thanks....

Hi everyone...i have had this problem for over a year...and have recently found a doc that was willing to diagnose it...he said it was ringworm on my hands and feet gave me clotrimazole (caneston) which stripped the little spots peeled the dead skin off and is feeling alot better, the only thing i will say is if u try this continue using it even after skin comes away to be sure. .Good luck :-)

My skin on my feet is constantly peeling in different layers I hate it, ny feet used to be so pretty now they are so nasty and they scratch when I rub against the sheets. Sometimes for a temporary fix, ill shave my feet with my razor and it makes them smooth for a day or two. Idk whatelse to do :(
