I have the SAME symptoms- left shoulder blade. Been bugging me for months now. No pain, just tingling and numbness- almost feels like a piece of plastic wrap is stuck on my back. Started when i was wearing a ill fitting bra (lost a lot of weight quickly) and the clasp was broken, digging into my back. I am assuming nerve damage but it won't go away and I wanted to find out what it was. Anyone have a diagnosis? Google has been no help- this was the first related article I could find in three hours.

Pretty sure everybody is experiencing a slight rib dislocation due to posture and usually not enough muscle tissue to hold it in. It's a long process because a chiropractor can get it back in place but then it can right back out. Need to see a chiropractor multiple times while getting your back muscles in shape. I had same issue.

I've been having this issue since the day I could complain. My mum said that when I could talk, I would complain about a 'tickle in my back'. It's on the lower right... None stop. However when I don't think about it I can get on with what I want. It takes me longer to get to sleep and I'm scared that one day my back will tickle when I can't move... Nightmare. I want to go to the doctor about it soon, im putting it off. I've read something about back parenthesia or however it's spelt, and I think that may be it.
I hope something can be done, I've practically had this all my life so far. I want a break LOL.

I've had a tingling to the left of my shoulder blade for about a year , comes in when I'm washing up or reaching up in high cupboards etc , or when I'm using my right hand to do something like scrub a floor . Only lasts about 15 secs but it had me worrying about cancer or a mass somewhere pushing on a nerve . Drs sent me to physio which did nothing and I went to a chiro who noticed I had a lot of scar tissue in that area so worked on it a number of times and this last time it's definitely better and the scar tissue has been broken up a lot so not pushing on the nerves etc , could be the same for others , it's would definitely happening more when I was stressed too .

This is what worked for me. Bend at the knees, then bend over placing the backs of your hands on the ground with your fingers pointing towards your toes. Step forward onto the palms of your hands even if just the finger tips to the first few knuckles. Relaxing your neck and letting your head dangle, Slowly try to straighten the legs. the biggest part of the stretch is not about straightening your legs, it's about pulling gently up with your upper body. Relaxing, take deep breaths so you can feel your rib cage expand and a stretch between your shoulder blades. Slowly bend at the knees again releasing your hands from under your feet and slowly straighten up. I do this a couple times a day and it seems to relive my buzzing. It does come back the. I just go back to stretching out again. I think it's a pinched nerve or irritate nerves from how i sit at my desk. Good luck guys!!!

Does anyone know what this is, so when someone breathes on or touches or kisses the back of my neck I get a really uncomfortable tickling sensation on the left of my back, under my shoulder blade. If that person keeps doing what they are doing I have it a multiple amount of times

That is exactly my symptoms, I describe them as if I have termites on my back, people laugh and tell me to get an exterminator, have you found what it is?

Mine is on the right side also, between the shoulder blade and the spine. Very annoying, not painful. The posture while sitting at the computer makes sense, slouching forward, etc., but what may be adding to or causing it is something along the lines of carpal tunnel syndrome, overuse of an area. If you use a mouse with your right hand, and your arm is constantly slightly raised, on a desk, on an armrest, away from your body, bent, etc., whatever the position may be, might it be possible..........? I'm at it at work for nearly 60 hours per week, and it's gotta take its toll in various ways and manifestations.

I also keep wondering about carpel tunnel , my tingling definitely comes on when I use my right hand to do things , I do a lot of typing on my phone and every time I fill a cup up with water from the tap the tingling again happens , but I do not have typical carpel symptoms ?

i cant believe how many people have the same symptoms as I do! There is no pain, no marks but its in between my left shoulder blade, probably size of a golf ball. feels SOOOO weird lol, like numb or like ants crawling. If I lift my left arm and move it around I can actually feel where the numbness is exactly kinda idk if this works for anyone else. Started a few weeks ago, I'm a server at olive garden so maybe it can be from lifting heavy trays so high? I was scared that it might be my heart at first. Maybe I dont drink enough water. Another thing I noticed is the feeling usually comes back the most late at night when I'm on my laptop smoking in my patio. Im glad I see I'm not the only one with this problem... haha, I'm usually paranoid when it comes to things like this.

I wonder if this can be from lack of nutrients? A lot of us work lots of hours a week and sometimes dont drink enough water or eat healthy.
