to all, I have been sufferi ng withe throwing up phlegm for the past eigtheen mounths. I thinks it is some kind of fungal problem. The trouble is when I took Zantac for acid reflux thing got worse.I now understand that fungals like to live in a alkaline enviroment acid suppression can make the situation worse.you will not get any docotor to admit to this.

keeping the diet clean, low suger and no diary may help.also probotic supplement andgrapeseed extract. garlic and pau d'arco tea.Im taking coconut oil the pur virgen stuff. it does thin it a bit. Also hydrogen peroxide as also been suggested.Need to be careful with this Some sites give you advice on how to take it but i would be careful and find out all the imformation you can first.docotors seem to useless with these sorts of problems. do all the sesearch you can and do not give up.good luck to all

As it has been discussed, it is our body's natural way of getting rid of toxins. Why would anyone want to stop that process? You guys would rather hold things in your body that are harmful to it than naturally release them? I don't get it.

I too am on the same boat . . .The funny thing about phlegm is my drug addiction makes it worse. Meth really intensifies the already thick, gooey phlegm. Holler!!!

Er, um, maybe your real problem isn't phlegm?

I have had this problem virtually my whole life. It clears up almost completely when I stop eating certain foods. I know it's a difficult thing to do, but just do a short trial of giving up all of the following foods: all dairy, eggs, bread, alcohol, sugar, shellfish, coffee, hot spicy food.

Just try it for 5 days and see what happens. If it clears up, you can add the foods back one at a time and see which ones cause phlegm. I have terrible, choking phelgm all the time. When I give up those foods it goes away completely.

Try jogging or running. I had a weed addiction and tried quitting a few times. Every single time time after I quit I found I had lots of phlegm and I play soccer and used to really feel it all come out during a game of soccer. But what I found was that this physical activity speeds up the process of the body getting rid of all these toxins. Also start eating more healthy and reduce intake of all those products mentioned above that make he photo worse. And do yoga or sumting, it's really good for u!

I have found that if I always make it easier for the phlegm to drain, things quickly improve.

At night an extra pillow keeps it moving, and in the daytime I try to always have my head slightly tilting down, I find the worst thing to do is look up for a long time or even straight ahead, the phlegm just builds up and makes me feel terrible.

I just read your post and your situation is so similar to mine that it could have been me writing it. I too used to have a very good singing voice and now can't sing a note. I am always hoarse and always coughing. I was wondering if you have come up with anything yet that has helped?
