GO TO THE DOCTOR ASAP!! I had a huge boil under my arm pit and it hurt so bad I couldn't move my arm. I went to the doc and she said it was staph infection and I could've died if it wasn't drained out. So they poked a hole in it and drained it out..hurt like heck!!! Then they stuffed it with some cotton and that was terrible pain. Thank God I found out before it was too late. Folks, if your bump is really big and swollen, it could be staph and it's really serious.
I have got that problem rite now.
I got it two days ago when a normal pimple came up and i tried yo pop it.
I still dont know how to get rid of it. i recently (20mins ago) tried to pop it again.I am now in HORRIBLE PAIN and i dont know what to do.any help would be a life changer please and thanks.

I don't think that there's anything else i can offer up for you to feel better. Unfortunately, when you pop a pimple that doesn't come to a head, you have to just ride out the pain. I'm sorry to hear about that though. Are you feeling better now?

I'm 17 years old and so far I've had two of these pimple-boil-like things. And there is a third one that has developed as well. The last two, assuming they were ingrown hairs from shaving, I popped. The first one was to the left of my shin on my left leg. It got very swollen, heated, and painful. It was very hard to walk without feeling that pain. I popped it and, at first, barely anything came out. So I put peroxide on it, as well as Triple Antibiotic ointment (aka, Neosporin) and left it alone. The next day it was still there, very feverish, had a big red ring around it and there was a knot near the part where the pus came from. So I poked it with a needle to see if I could get anything else. It was pretty disturbing how much pus was underneath my skin. The pus itself was not exactly white, it was more of a mixture of white/green/gray. After I had gotten all the pus that would come, a clear-like fluid would usually follow, if not blood. Well, after I had gotten rid of most of the pus, it started to go away. Mind you, there's a scab there, as well as a knot where it had been. Soon after that one started to heal, I got on on my left leg on my inner thigh towards the knee. I didn't think it would turn into one of those because I had assumed the last one had just gotten infected.
I was very, very wrong. D: It proceeded to get "infected" just the same way and is in the process of healing right now. The skin does peel away as if I've had a sunburn instead of a fevered infection underneath. Both of them have peeled. Now, I've developed a pimple head that's starting to swell and become painful, but I haven't even tried to pop it. The head is fairly large, but not horrible. Bigger than most pimples. It hurts a little bit right now. I've put my Antibiotic ointment on it to bring the stuff to the surface, but it doesn't look as if it will cooperate with me. :(
I really don't want to go to the doctor and pay that money for them to tell me I have something I don't. (Like Staph) My uncle had Staph a few times and he looked at it and said it wasn't Staph or MRSA because he had different symptoms and it looks different too. I've thought maybe I had LGS or yeast build up, but I can't be sure. What was everyone else's diagnosis? Can anyone help me?

ive had this boil-like pimple on the jaw bone. it was very irrating and it built up more oil then some of the other areas of my face. its been there for over 6 months so i decided to see if surgery could take care of it. i went to a cosmetic doctor and they told me surgery should be the last resort because itll come back, so they gave me a shot containing collagens and it completely went away
It sounds to me like the pimple you had was probably cystic acne so that sounds like the proper treatment. Have you had any come back since?
I went to the dermatologist and mine was MRSA staph infection treatable with antibiotic pills and antibiotic ointment.

They grew in size and my skin began peeling literally like sunburn and it spread to the left cheek. Very uncomfortable! After a couple weeks of never wanting to leave the house (impossible to cover with makeup by the way) I finally went to the doctor and found out it was a staph infection. I was put on an antibiotic for 10 days. The staph returned and I was put on a stronger antibiotic for 10 days again, which seemed to work better. Moral of this story: it make look like a massive breakout or infected pimples but go to the doctor it is more likely staph! Hope this helps! PS-try Staphaseptic. Won't cure, but definitely helps prevent and treat!

I've had the same problem for about a month now. None of them have gotten too serious until this one that just popped up on my brest. The spot it is in rubs against my bra like mad, so I took the bra of. But the weight of my chest pressing down on it is even worse than the bra. I have my bathing suit halter top on know and it releaves the pain somewhat, but I don't know what to do. It really hard in the middle, then around it for about two inches in all directions is really red and swollen. I'm not sure what to do with it. I don't want to go to the doctors, but I have to go to school and it just keeps getting worse. What should I do?
I think I've been having the same problem. I had a small pimple that I popped just under my breast. The next day, another one showed up on my lower breast. It has slowly gotten worse over the past few days. The center is all hard, the surrounding area is red and swollen, and some of the skin is coming of. I can wear my bra anymore because it rubs against it, so I'm going around everywhere without a bra. I'm getting strange looks. I don't know what to do about it!!! I can't go to the doctor, but I have to go to winter guard practice tomorrow. I need to gt it a lot better by then or it is going to be five hours of hell.
this same thing kept happeneng to my sister. she suffered alot and even got one on her head ,same scars i hear you describing. she even had to got to the doctor for a few of them, the last time she had to go to the doctor they said it was bug bite that was infected. to make a long story short it turned out they were right she had BED BUGS and didnt know it for like 7 months! CHECK YOUR BED!! good luck
