I'm 17 and I've had these for a couple months. My doctor told me to wash it with hibiclense. Its just a surgical soap used to stop bacterial infection. It helped me a lot. Also just keep heat on it to pull the infection out.

Go to the doctor. Staph is very dangerous. Better safe then sorry

My niece had this problem. They are not pimples they are cysts. If you don't want to let them go away on their own you need to see a medical professional and have it drained.

I never had thses before last December of last year (2012)  Then, on the plane ride home New Years Eve I started getting an kitching sensation on my beltline.  It looked like a pimple with ne head, then there were 3, and 2 of them grew together.  I went to my Dr and he lanced them open and they had a deep hole in them, and packed with cotton.  the most painfull things ever. One goes away and another pops up.  I am diabetic so they put me on an antibiotic.  Still, one goes and another shows.    A nurse said it is my blood sugar, and I have combed the internet reading hundresd of posts about these and only 1 person has comented about blood sugar, it seems as a lot of people get them.  for a year, I have gotten them regularly, a simple pimple on my outer thigh turned in to one, but I put a screw through my finger in an accident and it healed well, no sign of the big boil like infection.  sometimes they are so psinful, and soaking in a tun=b of hot water helps, and then they drain easy, and hurt less but leave a huge scar.  I just got over one, a huge one on my outer leg amd I had a small pimple on my lower arm that I scratched off, and now it it turning in to one.  It is almost as I got this and my body has not gotten rid of it.

Research Hidradenitis Suppartiva. You probably have it. Sounds like Stage 1. There are some great support groups on Facebook. You are not alone.

Hidradenitis suppurativa is an inflammatory skin disease that is characterised by recurrent boil-like lumps (abscesses) that culminate in pus-like discharge, difficult-to-heal open wounds and scarring. It commonly occurs on apocrine sweat gland-bearing skin such as in the groin, the underarms (axillae) and under the breasts.

It is also known as ‘acne inversa’ (inverse acne). This is probably a better name for the condition, as the term "hidradenitis" implies it starts as an inflammatory disorder of sweat glands, which is now known to be incorrect.

This sounds like this condition called Hidradenistis Suppurativa. Sufferers have recurring boils in their groin, armpits, and breast area. I've heard of this condition through my dermatologist because I have a horrible boil on my bikini line that won't heal. I cycle a lot, though, so that might be one of the reasons why I have such difficulty healing this up. I don't personally think I have this but I do occasionally get boils in my genital area which is somewhat distressing. I've read up on it though and some of the people that have this condition find relief through following the Paleo diet. I haven't tried it myself, but if I continue to have issues I just might.

(DONT IGNORE) Can anyone help? I'm 14 and I had that reddish bump in my forehead. I didn't know what was it but I popped it and now I have a whole in my forehead. I went to the doctor and they gave me this cream called "Bacterium" i read about it and it makes the bacteria go away. I have it on my forehead 24/7. Should i leave the cream on or take a small break and let the hole breath? i dont know what to do please help, school is about to start less than a week. I only started using this cream for like 13 days and most of the reddish is away. Need desperate help please...

I suffer from this awful condition! I learned that night shades are a definite no no. For me, one bite of a regular potato, fry, chip etc, is a guaranteed infection! When I cut them out, I got 95% better. Hormones seem to cause me issues, as well. Each month, I'll discover a problem, jump on it, and I'm fine. Good luck! It's a nightmare!
