Wow, this has been quite a year for iconic people to die. First Bea Arthur, and then in the past month alone we lost Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson. Do you all watch infomercials as much as I do? It looks like Billy Mays is dead now too. I'm so surprised because he was relatively young but he's gone too. I don't think I heard what the cause of death is--did anyone happen to read what it was? Does anyone else even know who this is?

I know, I was very surprised by it too. I watch his show on Discovery Channel called "Pitchmen", and I had been watching it the night before he died. He had a family and everything, and he seemed like such a nice guy. I was really sad to hear about it.
I was so sad to hear that he died as well only because I know that he left behind two kids who I'm sure are devastated. Did anyone happen to hear how he died?
i heard that he had a heart attack but im not sure if thats just rumor or the truth
The paper said that an autopsy discovered that he had a malformation of his heart, which i think he didn't even know about. Speculation was that he passed due to a bump on the head while his plane blew a tire and had a hard landing. It turned out that it was his heart after all. His wife found him dead in bed in the morning.
Oh, that's so awful to hear about. I actually have a nephew who has a malformation in his heart so I am pretty aware of that sort of thing, but I didn't know that you could have something like that they don't pick up on something like that. Thanks for letting me know.
