I have a pea sized bump underneath my skin about half a centimeter to the right of where my scrotum meets my skin (on the right side of my scrotum, so it is NOT on my scrotum, but near it). I'm not sure if it is a Sebaceous Cyst or if it is something cancerous or if it is just a bump that I should pop. I can grasp around all 360 degrees of it (I think, it's hard to tell whether or not I can grab from underneath it, seeing as my skin creates a barrier, so there could be some tissue connecting or maybe some roots, I'm not sure), last night I was squeezing it, which hurt less than squeezing a pimple on your face, and a puss like substance came out, but it seemed to be more watery, I'm not sure. I kept squeezing and it was almost like I popped something because I felt like I had broken a barrier or something, and what seemed to be clear liquid (I'm not sure, it was late and dark) came out of it. I noticed this around 5 days ago, I don't think it could have been there much longer because I think I would have noticed. When I squeeze it now a clear liquid slowly comes out. I do shave my pubic hair about once a week, but it is basically on my pubic hair line, so an in-grown hair could be possible. I am not sexually active, but plan to be very soon seeing as I am 14 years of age. If I still had this damned bump I would be very embaressed, especially if more formed. Could this be some sort of rash caused from friction from running? If it IS a sebaceous cyst, then I've read that I can get rid of it at home by digging untill I find a white seed-like ball. If it isn't, what should I do? I masturbate on average 1 time a day, if it helps. I am willing to use any home remedies I can, but if you think it is absolutely necessary to talk to a doctor, I will tell my parents and try to get that sorted out.

I play soccer (2 practices a week, usually 1 game) and I do wear biker (spandex) shorts overtop of my boxers to keep the cold out.

In my opinion, it doesn't sound like a Sebaceous Cyst, from what I've read they are usually larger and on the scrotum/shaft of the penis.

i dont think it is a sebacious cyst either. they are normally very painful. it may be some other form of a cyst but it sounds like it could just be an ingrown hair. its not cancer. :-) for now i would watch it and see if it gets any bigger or if any other symptomes occur. you could go to a doctor if it does not get better and he/she could take a look and probably remove it.
also, just curious, why are you in such a hurry to have sex?? at you age most people have not had sex (contrary to what your friends may tell you or what you read hear on the internes/media). having sex carries HUGE amounts of responseabilities. massive mistakes and accidents can happen in an instant with sex and some you have to live with the rest of your life.
im not telling you what is right or wrong but take a look around the forum... most of the posts are about kids who fear they are pregnate or have std's...... and at 14 i immagin you are still pretty "clueless" (for lack of better words) about sex, birthcontrole ext.... im not trying to bash you or your intelegence i just would hate to have something bad happen...
anyways let me know what you think on the cyst and if i improves... have you tried putting any lotion such as hydrocortizone on it??

Thanks, it hasn't gotten any bigger and I do sometimes have a problem with ingrown pubic hair so it could be that.

Actually, I looked closely, and I saw the tip of a hair, so I pulled it out with tweezers, and it was a hair probably about 1cm long, folded in half that was underneath my skin, that could have been the cause. I squeezed it after that and it has probably halfed in size.

hey that sounds like it was probably the cause. if and when your friends start talking about having sex most of them will be making it up just to seem "cool" and fit in.... but as for now sex should be held off there are plenty of otherways to satisfy your sexual urges/feelings :-)

Just make sure you use protection (CORRECTLY) NO MATTER WHAT SHE TELLS YOU. to many permanat things can happen if you don't.

I think it's both obnoxious and slightly ridiculous that you as person that knows nothing about this young man, his upbringing or his personality or life situation, can tell him your opinion on wether he has sex at fourteen or not. Not only would a 14 year old not give a sh*t about some random cat lady weirdo advising them not to have sex, but it's pretty in appropriate to just assume you can give kids advice like that. Do you know this kids parents, what their beliefs are and what beliefs they've instilled in him? Just because sex at fourteen isn't normal in the tiny bubble of your life, doesn't mean it's abnormal most places, cuz lemme tell you me and most of my friends had sex at fourteen or fifteen and that where I'm from (in the far away land of New York lol) is considered totally normal. Don't try to scare this kid out of having a good fun teenage experience, let him to what he wants without instantly installing your judgment on his sex life possibilities. Most pple that don't have any sex or practice when they're young end up beig way more likely to get chicks pregnant I college if they didn't have at least one sex partner during their highschool years. Kid, if you can get laid at fourteen an you've been raised under the notion that that's the normal age to do so where you're from, do that especially if you like the girl. Don't listen to weird repressed people who advocate religious abstinence and not having sex cuz it's not safe cuz guess what... The risk of getting a girl prego doesn't go away until a woman is in the throws of menopause so.... The risk is always there.
