Hi. Me and my girlfriend recently had sex. It wasn't the first time, and nothing was truely different about it. She had her last period around the 27th, and we had sex on the 7th. This was roughly a 4-5 days after her period 'ended'. Being near 18 years old, we cannot deal with pregnancy now.
We had what I call light sex, where we penetrated for a few mins, then finished with masterbation. I came (no where near her vagina), and im not sure when (probably 10 -30 mins later) I penetrated her again, lasting only a few minutes (she was on top this time). Really, each penetration was a few minutes long, and never involved ejaculation in her.
She is on the pill, but seeing she had her period, she hadn't taken it for a week. I wasn't using a condom. She had the pill the day before and the day we had sex, but she says it takes 7 days for it to be effective. She has taken it every day since, and is about a week out from her next period.
The problem here is, she and I are very scared that she could possibly be pregnant. She has tender breasts, increased urination, headaches and mood swings. She says she thinks she could be pregnant, which of course makes us more scared. Now, for as long as I have known her, she has always had slight tenderness in her breasts and got her fair share of headaches. The main concern is that in about 1 week she has put on 7kg's of weight, and increased her urination rate.
It coming up to 2 weeks since we had unprotected sex. I thought it was to early to experience symptoms, as she has had them since near the end of week 1. She has also been under stress lately, and currently has small red bumps on her arms which are itchy (Her mum thinks measuals, she still has to go to the Doc to get these checked, just appeared 2 days ago).
She has bought a pregnancy test and may buy another, and is planning to do it in a week when her period is due.
I read the 'worried about pregnancy thread' and I understand that she could be pregnant, however I was wanting some feedback. Is it a high risk? Could these pregnancy symptoms be apart of the itcy bumps or stress? Where did the extra weight come from all of a sudden? I know it takes more than a week for the auctual inpregnation to happen, so is it to early to be seeing signs of such?
Any comments would be helpful, Thanks,

Maybe it's the symptom pregnancy, or maybe she just ate a lot these past few weeks.
What you did was wrong (unprotected sex).
What she did as her first move was right (buying a pregnancy test)
If the pregnancy test turns out to be positive, then MAYBE she is pregnant (the test are not 100% true, so don't rely on them too much)
If not, then you are safe.
To be sure, the only thing that I can say to you, Is to PREY HARD that she is not pregnant.

Yea, we know what we did was not the right thing. We are preying, believe me.
I think pregnancy tests that are taken around the time of the period are about 98% accurate, however she thinks the one she has is a bit less.
But, anyway, today she says the symptoms are less than what they were. Now it is confusing what state we are in, so I guess we must just wait for the test...

Until your responsible enough to handle what can come along with sex (babies) you should not do it! I would say it's too early for her to have pregnancy signs. She could be urinating more because she may have a bladder infection. As far as the mood swings every teen age girl has them. Until she's missed a period you aren't going to know for sure. Even if her period ends up being late don't panic. If she's stressing out over this that can cause her period to get messed up. If you don't want to wait to have sex you need to use protection, more then just the pill!!
