Had had a fractured navicular in 2004 ,in 2005 I had a 4mm Ao fragment skrew implanted . since then I suffer from a dull ache and minor swelling in the area above the navicular . Could this be osteoarthritis set in or shall I consider having the screw removed ?
I am having the same problem now! did you ever get it removed? Although you probably have arthritis, the screw could be irritating you too. My doctor is recommending getting the screw removed, but I am not quite sure. What did you end up doing?
