So I had a surgical abortion on November 4th. I was little under five weeks. The procedure was quick and was out. The bleeding and cramps lasted about a week then stopped. About two weeks after the procedure, I had my period around Nov 18th. I was bleeding for about five days and each day it got light so I was assuming it was my period. I had intercourse with my boyfriend on Nov 24th and we used protection. Then on Nov 28th I used my toy/masturbation with my bf cause he didn't have a condom and he was little rough. Then 2-3 days after I was having terrible abdominal pain. Didn't experience this pain before during my first pregnancy. Went to the doctor on Dec 4th and did a urine test and it came back negative he told me so he said maybe I got an ovarian cyst which I've had one before and the pain was similar so I said okay. Then I get a call from one of the assistants of that doctor next day and told me the test was negative and they waited 5-7 mins for the results. Then said hours later they came back and it was positive. I know tests can change results if left out too long. So she said she had more of my urine sample and tested again and said positive but very fainted. Could this be because the hormones were still in my body a little cause I know it takes 4-6 weeks before they disappear. So here I am today still thinking about that day and scared to take a pregnancy test because of the results. But every time I've had sex, has been protected. For about a week I have been expierencing some mild cramps like my period and I have this during my first pregnancy so it scares me. But I'm not having any other symptoms like breasts, nausea, really tired or anything but every pregnancy is different I get it. My expected period is in three days and got some mild cramps and wanted to know if this was normal for anyone else after the abortion? And also about the negative to postive test. My anxiety is up the roof worrying about this and my bf is confident I'm fine but never know.
