Is it possible to get pregnant twice after having your tubes tied? Its been 5 months since I had an ectopic pregnancy and now my home test says I'm pregnant. Could this time be a healthy baby or should I get prepared for another surgery?
I had a my tubes cut and burn eight years ago and about a three years ago I had some of the same symptoms as some of you belly was growing breast were leaking preg test came back neg and a ultrasound showed nothing I had abdomial pain and my period did not come down for four months then I was examed to try and find out what was wrong with me and they could not find anything not sure what they did during the examination but after that I got my cycle and they just told be to watch out for an clots odd don't you think. Now about three years later I am going through the same thing it is now going on three months the I do not have my cycle and my belly is starting to get bigger I went to the doctors and they did a urine test which came back neg and I am now what on the blood test results to come back it is weird but I too like many of you know my body and the signs that it is giving off is that of me being pregnant after four kids you would think we would be able to tell the difference right. My husband is happy about it but does not want to get his hopes up because of what happened the first time around. Though to be honest another baby would be nice considering that we do not have any children together I have four from a previous relationship and he has two so one of our own would be really nice and special therefore if this is another false alarm then we are going to look into invitro. I have to agree it is a little scary now but it will be good for us as a couple to share a gift so precious since we have been together for the past six years. I am a little more relax to see that so many other have the same questions and concerns that I do I often wondered if I was just going crazy and causing myself to feel these symptoms because it is something that I would like to share with my husband.
I had a tubaligation 6 years ago. A month later found out I was pregnant. However, it was because I was 3 weeks pregnant already at the time of the surgery. Well, the baby (or I should say, babies) are ok. I was pregnant with twins and pregnancy test done before the surgery was negative. After I delivered my twins, I asked the doctor to perform the tuballigation again... Now, my twins are 5 years old and I am over 2 weeks late and worried that I might be pregnant. But I don't have any pregnancy symtoms besides just being late... Could I be pregant? ?
I had my second son on June 21, 2007 by cesarean. I got my tubes tied. Doc didnt say if she just tied them or bruned the ends or not. I never even got a copy of the form I signed to do it. Anyways, I recently started a diet and lost 6lbs. Its been 2 weeks and I hav ebeen feeling more hungry and gained all the 6lbs back. I have felt little flutters in my stomach the past 2 days. I felt 1 little poke today very low in pelvis area, which is where the baby starts growing. And felt another small one in the same area about an hour ago. So its freaking me out. I think its absurd that we can possibly get pregnant after having the expensive tubaligation. I kind of regret getting them tied but if I am pregnant then I have nothing to regret I guess!!!!!
I had my tubes tied , cut and burned in 1999 . Then back in June I found out I was pregnant . I did not have a lot of symptoms at first , like I did with my first 2 . I had no morning sickness , and no cramps or aches . Then after a couple more weeks , my breast started hurting . A few more weeks later the morning sickness started . Went to the doctor , and they done a PT test to make sure , sure enough I was . Now we are expecting our first baby girl .. AND BOY ! ...........Twins ... Go figure ... Everything is 100% perfect , and no problems except the nightly ice cream fit I go through , Babies are doing well , and we cant be more excited . My little boys are already calling them angel babies lol .
I had my tubes tied almost 16 yrs ago. I had thought before i was pregnant and nothing came about, but i took a home test and i was shocked to see that it was positive. Today i went into the doc's and had a blood test done and won't get the results till tomorrow...i am going crazy!! It seems many people doubt me and my body feels like it's pregnant. I haven't even been married to my present husband but 1 1/2 yr so it was a surprised...i even back in 98 had a ecpotic pregnancy so i am so very nervous....I've been praying for a normal pregnancy...will keep you posted!!
ok so i am 3 weeks late for my period i had a tubaligation done 4 years a go and been very regular on my period I have alot of signs of being pregnant however 2 test are negative what is wrong with me

was your tubalization the "clamping" type or were they cut and tied?

I have been reading everyone's concern on whether or not you can be pregnant since your tubal, I feel pregnant,but tests are negative,etc. I too have had my tubes cut and burned and I think I'm late for my period, but I have that one pimple on my face starting to form as it always does before I'm about to start. But I think the chances of pregnancy are possible but extremely small. I think as women when we tie or burn our tubes making pregnancy near impossible it does something to us as women. Although I know I made the right decision, in the back of my mind I get sad sometimes. It is so permanent. I think we sometimes talk ourselves into feeling as if we may be pregnant and that will give you symptoms. Sometimes if you tell yourself something enough times we start to believe it. Especially after so many years when our own babies are starting to grow up and not need us as much. My youngest is six now. WOW! My tubes have been tied for 5 yrs. . I'm not writing this to discourage anyone who may be feeling pregnant, but the odds are very, very small. But good luck to everyone.
Im going in next month for a hystorectomy cause i hemorage every month since my last child was born and i had a tubal so i would not have anymore children cause i had placenta prevea. now im 12 days late and alot of cramping in my belly and lower back im so confused on whats going on can some one that knows what their talkin about email me and give me some help thanks _[removed]_
I'm 46 years old, I had my Tubes Tied, Cliped and Burned back in 1999. My Oldest daughter is 25 with three kids I have a 17 year old and my baby is 10 years old. I missed my period in March and now I'm into April and still nothing. I started going through with the Hot Flashes for the past two months and now they've stop. I wish somebody can tell me WHAT'S GOING ON!!!!!. I thought once you had the works done, you would be safe. Now I'm begining to panic. I'm not Married, but I do have a Friend I've been seeing for the past 3 1/2 years and I'm just a little nervous right now and hoping this is not true. I spoke with him this morning and he's experiencing a very bad (unusual) headache. I don't feel any tendernes in my breast as I have done in the past with my last three girls. I'm getting to old for this. HELP!!!!
I have missed my period and my tubes have been tied about 2 1/2 years. I am eating like crazy and just feel a familiar way. I took pregnancy test and it said negative but no one seems to be able to tell me if you can get an accurate reading after the surgery. I have no insurance and need some answers. Can you help?

I recently got married in January. I have two daughters who will be 13 and 12 this year. I will be 38 this year. My tubes were tied through my belly button in 1998. We just got back from our honeymon on 3/28. I have a regular period every month and this month I am late a week today. I am scared to go to the store and buy a pregnancy test. I did notice a week ago my breast were tender like they were when I was pregnant with both girls. I have been hungry all the time and eatting a lot. I am curious on the woman who is in here 40's and a grandma who posted about a week ago or a few days ago if she is pregnant? Did you take a test? Think I am going to go buy a test today , that scares me also after reading all of these and those who were pregnant and the test didn't show it....
HI, I had my last period 2 weeks ago, and about a week ago, i had spotting in the evening that was bright red then turned brown, and then again the next day, i had a tubal in 2004 tied and burned, and did not have sex for 4 years untill recently, IM not due for another period for 2 weeks, but I have noticed nausea, being emotional and tired,, what gets me is.. I had a tubal, and me spotting like that, i never do that, then I feel heaviness in my lower stomache.. I need to know if I should be concerned? because of eptopic pregnancy? I dont have health insurance.. and its too early to be tested? so Im scared.. Anyone get pregnant after a tubal where your tubes were cauterized?
