I have been on crutches for the past 4 years. Last surgery was 1.5 years ago and there is slow progress towards complete healing. I just wanted to find out whether anyone knows someone who's been on two crutches whilst pregnant as I am 30 and do not want to wait any longer to conceive. I would also be interested to know how to cope with pregnancy in this situation.

I know that this post is quite old but I wondered how you have or had gotten on??I have been on crutches for 2 years and will be for at least the next 18 months, I have just found out I'm pregnant and wondered whether you could give me any advice???I really hope this reply gets through to you, as I have not found anybody else in the same situation???

Hi Rachel, its been years since that post!!! Well, I did conceive in May 2007 and got a beautiful baby gal that is now 3.5 years! It was not very hard actually my pregnancy was smooth and uneventful... am now on one crutch and contemplating another baby because they are just so cute! ***this post is edited by moderator *** ***
