I had my gallbladder removal two and a half months ago. I have my wine and beer here. 4 beers max. And 3 glasses of wine max. But I don't seem to me enjoying them. I have wierd pains on the left side where my spleen and pancrease is, sometimes even where my GB was. Is this normal? Or should I just go and see my doc.

I had my gallbladder removed lybroscopiclly 2 days ago and felt pretty good but then was back in the E.R this morning with horrible chest an shoulder pain an couldn't breathe.. they said the bottom of my lungs were collapsed an a air pocket is under one from the anestisia. they just gave me pain pills and told me to walk a lot and do breathing treatments 10x every hour or lay on my stomach with my butt in the air and take deep breathes to prevent pneumonia. is that normal for your lungs to collapse..?

Everyone,
Let me give you some insight about these issues you all are experiencing after the cholecystectomy. I had my gallbladder removed 9 years ago, and progressively felt worse and sicker-with same symptoms as many of you experience. I have seen GI & Allergist whom never resolved anything; yet my Primary physician discovered what was wrong. He explained that some people develop a syndrome where the pancreas does not produce enough enzymes after gallbladder removal... So now he has had me star on Zenpep-enzymes. To tell you the truth I have noticed some changes...good ones; so why don't you all discuss with your physicians
about further testings to see you may benefit from this treatment as well.
