Around April of '06, I've been getting a round purple lump in the same place, right on the crease of the vagina. So a month later I went to the gyno to get checked out because I found out a partner from a year earlier had HPV. She told me that the bump could be an ingrown hair or from shaving, I also got a pap test and it said I was within normal limits. And I'm scared now to become sexually active again because I'm scared of what that bump really is. I don't think it's anything serious, but I just would really like to be on the safe side and be reassured that everything is okay.
Could anyone tell me what I should do??

:-( I have been having sex with a guy for awhile and we took a break in JUly and got back together in August. He said that he slept with a girl in between and used protection. We would have unprotected sex before, but I was on the pill. I never had any problems down there. Now I seem to be really sore and swollen down there. I fingered myself yesterday, and i had no problems. I also woke up this morning with cold symptoms. I am just worried that he may have given me something.
